Anhaaahhhhh. I just woke up from a nice 2 hour nap. Anyway, I looked at the list and they don't have Neti-pot. None of the local distributors have heard of it either. See for yourself.

Amelia Island area is sweet from everything I've heard. Jacksonville rush hour traffic is a nightmare so stay on the fringes if you can. You might be able to get something here (link) while you look for a more permanent job.

Florida cities are vastly diverse and each area has it's own personality. You'll find that out soon enough.

Brut, are you going to take over for Coach?

Who would like to participate this year?

Not a commitment yet but I'd like to see who would like to play this season.

We need at least 10, Right?

Who's going to set the season rules?

Widgets?

Enough questions for now ..............

Geez ..... What about when I have to read about (Just came back from the crab festival or some of my friends and I just ran the Dragon or Great show this weekend at Carlyle or Several of us hooked up at Bloomington Gold) and I'm stuck here in Florida with hurricane warnings. I'll get to pay for this gorgious winter weather come summertime.

When I got out of the Air Force 30 years ago, I wanted to go back home to Boston but they were looking at double digit unemployment. No job opportunities. So I stayed with my inlaws for a couple of months till I got a job in Floridah. I expected to stay 5 years. I'm still here 30 years later with with no regrets. Everyplace else is just a few hours away by plane. A warning though, wages in Florida are typically low compared to other places.

Just came in from giving two of the cars a bath. I want to wax the 90 today before it gets too hot. 81' is the expected high. So I'm gonna jump on it soon. I don't want to sweat too much. Then I'm going shopping for a new marine radio and an AM/FM for the boat. Vacation week in the Keys starting next Saturday. It's supposed to get cold after next week. Mid 40s and highs in the 60s. BBbbrrrrrrr ......... Fishing isn't as much fun when you're freezing your ass off. :shaking:

It apparently just resets as it sits overnight. When I drive around all of a sudden all the buttons become inoperative. The A/C cooling system goes into a default setting and stays on. The radio locks on whatever station it was on and the volume control. The outside temp display then displays - -- -- or -- - -. One of the two. None of the control buttons will work at this point. One time the radio kept playing even with the switch off. Previous to this episode, the antenna stopped working so I just left it in the up position. So, what do you think? Short? Relay? Antenna related? Just another one of those whacky things? It doesn't effect performance but I sure would like to be able to control my radio and temperature options.

I'm tempted when cars are less than 10k and in great shape. I can handle up to 20k for a dream car and then up to 30k on a stretch for something I'd never be able to get again.

My sister works for Honda Cars Of Bradenton. She gives me a call and tells me there's a sweet looking 94 Vert they took in on trade. So I check it out on the web. The next thing I know I'm looking at newer ZR1s, ZO6s then I'm over to the classifieds at the Grand Sport Registry. I start thinking of selling my 90 and buying something else. I wouldn't sell my 91 because it's an ass kicking sleeper. My wife just said if we can get the 94 for xxxxx dollars do you want it. Hell I wasn't even looking for a car. Don't you just hate when that happens? .........

You need to get the resistance off the existing key. When you order the new cylinder, it will come with a key and you more than likely have to tell them the resistance.

Either that, or you get a key that fits and then have to make a copy on a blank with the right resistance.

Replacing is easy, really.

Remove the wheel, the airbag clockspring/switch thingy, the lock ring and a screw, the cylinder pops out.

I really need to do that...

The key switch is all worn out... my dome lights stay on too long and the chimes don't always chime.

Three times now for me. I got genuine GM parts. I heard and read that some of the cheaper aftermarket replacements are just that. Cheap aftermarket replacements. Even my locksmith told me to get it from the dealer.
