The targa top will still fit in back,
no cutting of the bezel, head unit fit like it was made for her.
I haul all mulch and stuff with my trailer....lol

acutally, it will hold alot more in the back than you would suspect, last year returning from the gathering, i had
two suitcases, two duffle's, 8 golf clubs...(no bag)
Racing helmet
of course you could not see out the back window,
but i do have a backup camera. (grin)
thanks for the compliments, I know a young fellow locally that used to work for BEST Buy installing custom stuff
he did most of the work, I have also purchased the Ipod
interface, whick will allow me to hook up play and charge my ipod using the head unit.

My beloved 1990 ZR1 #74 .... Needed in my opinion
a Audio/Video Upgrade. Here are my results:

First, we built a custom box, so as not to ruin the existing carpet, we just removed it altogether.
(now in storage with all my other ZR1 parts)

We replaced the old bose speakers in the rear hatch area and on the doors, with Top of the line Alpine Speakers,

The Subs, are 10 inch, Alpines powered by a 500 watt
Alpine amp.
Which in this small enclosure is clear and loud enough to cause wax to run from each ear.

The head Unit is a Pioneer AVIC Z2. The head unit and the door and rear side speakers are powered by the other 500 watt amp.
This head unit is awesome to say the least, Navigation, hard drive, that allows you to download you're favorite cd right onto the drive. Backup camera, DVD. Voice activation, you name it, it's pretty much got it. I am tickled shitless.
Loud and very Clean, It bolted right in when the old bose was retired.
When you put the gearbox into reverse the rearview camera turns on, you can also turn it on while moving down the highway, if you wanna see who you are beating. lol
Not cheap, to do, but all in all, Perfect for my needs.

Snowed about 4 inches here, wifey is confused, she said it looks more like a foot in her estimation,
This last summer i sold my 4 x 4 truck, i now have 4 vehicles, wifey's won't go anywhere in the snow, the ZR1 is parked for the winter, and the XLR is staying put also.
so she and i are sharing the spare car, i am buying a pickup this week, frikkin snow...bastards ass

I have bought 4 cars, restaurant equipmment,
and an assortment of household toys.
Bid what you would pay top dollar on an item IF you must have it. If you are just messing around, then, try and time the last few minutes of the sale, to snipe a bid at the end.

At the top of the page, on ebay, where the items 4 sale are listed is a box on the right hand side, it says ...
sort by.. click on -Items Ending Soonest,
which will make it easier to make a close to the ending bid, since time left is listed...good luck

Sunday June 27th.
A Couple that come into my place all the time, explained that her father runs car shows for people, has a website and the whole nine yards, i called him and he and i are meeting, monday, to discuss his possible envolvement.
Tentative plans, Ram's cheerleaders, Bud Girls, to take pics with cars for small donation to Alzheimer's Research.
band, beer garden, food a few venders, Large parking lot.
several classes and bikes. I will let you know more as soon as i start firming up more particulars.
I was thinking this would be a good chance for many of us to actually meet up in person, put a name to the face so to speak, last year i drove up to Columbia and was fortunate enough to hook up with 3 of our bretheren, that alone made it work the trip. i'm just sayin....

Only 53 of the original ZR1's were built, wish i had one.
the tshirt...my design, ZR-1
not zr1

ZR1 & ZR2 (1970–1972)
The ZR1 special engine package was a $1,221.00 option available exclusively with the LT-1 engine option. It was a special racing package that included the solid-lifter small-block engine, heavy-duty four-speed transmission, power brakes, aluminum radiator, and a revised suspension with special springs, shocks, stabilizer bar, and spindle-strut shafts. Since it was competition equipment, the ZR1 could not be ordered with power windows, power steering, air conditioning, a rear-window defogger, wheel covers, or a radio. Only 53 1970-1972 ZR1's were built [16]

The ZR2 special engine package was a $1,747.00 (1-year only) option originally planned for 1970[17], but officially released in 1971. It included the racing equipment in the ZR1, but for the LS-6 engine. Per GM policy, 1971 Corvette engines were detuned to run on low-lead fuel, except for the LS-6 454 V8, which was rated at 425 bhp (317 kW) on premium fuel. 188 cars in the 1971 model included the LS-6 engine, with only 12 with the ZR-2 package

I never got the real gist of the idea, i just know
they wanted an older clean corvette. My friend
is the account exec on the ad wrap on the pumps.
He called me and the rest is old news.
All of the mfa oil stations, pumps will have the above ad on it, and a bunch of conveience gas type stations will also carry it. Once they are up, i am gonna go take a pic
with my car and the ad on the pump together.

I believe this is the same car, i snapped a pic at the
2007 c4/Zr1 Gathering in Bowling Green, Ky.
Nice car. Although, I guess i am a purist, i don't really care for making a ZR1...look like a Grand Sport..aka..skunk
but that's just my humble opinion:

It's raining here, In Mid Eastern Missouri, AGAIN, -----

after my shower this morning,
i felt something strange with my foot
I checked and i've got webs growing between my toes.

Starting my 4th week on my self inflicted diet, the lbs. are falling off...s-l-o-w-l-y but i'm hangin in there,
i'm doin the weight watchers diet, and hitting the gym
3 or 4 days a week. say a fat reduction prayer for me.

Have a fruitful day !!

Greetings Gurus:

I live mid eastern Missouri, where men are men an sheep are nervous. (Innsbrook,Mo) 65 Miles west of st louis 7miles south of
interstate 70. 73 miles east of columbia mo.

Pro's:
Housing...very resonalbe...especially right now,yet,
i understand obama's gonna fix all that.
actually this area is probably the best bang for the buck,
for housing.

Sports: baseball here is a religion, football, hockey.

Taxes. yeah, i pay em...not as high as most area's of the country, but the local officials are trying to remedy the situation.

Driving: Corvette weather, Mid March through December most of the time, even some in Jan. Nice winding roads in my area, (very rural) city...area's congested but not like
chicago, or cali.

Weather: i get cabin fever, i hate the winter time, i lived 7 years of my life, in south florida, Islamorada area of the florida keys, i'd move back tomorrow, but i have accumulated all this crap, and house and business
ect.... hoping to sell everything and move before i get to old to do so.

Cons: Weather jan feb and march sucks butt.. mild summer this year, but usually hotter than hell in august.

biggest turnoff for the area right now is unemployment and everyone holding onto their coin, and not spending anything cause they don't know what tomorrow will bring.
not me, i'm a grasshopper. i might croak tomorrow.

here are a few pics ...front yard...back yard around the crib.

Greetings Guru's.

Groundhog days continue's for me, work then home...etc...

I've started a diet, weight watchers, seeming as i got my
weight out there where i could really see it.

At my first week's weigh in, I had lost 6 lbs. So now
i'm pumped, hoping for a repeat next week.
Bar n Restaurant is goin good, and am getting ready to start planning our car show next year. probably late june.

the xlr caddy, is a joy to drive, a little quicker than i really expected. i am having an issue with the gas cap but gonna go get a new one thursday.

have a great day, it's sunny here in Missouri. fianally.
keep the rubber side down
