Yep, those fine "I got money I'm entitled" folks. We get em here too. I don't blame her one bit. People are ignorant, and anymore customers are the rude, condescending ones. Happens all the time here. And, unlike decades ago, folks now are simply out to get you, different mentality than from a few years past. One dude here came in cussing the guys in tint over an appoinment - or lack of it. He made an appointment somewhere else, then yelled at them here because they couldn't just get him in. It don't work like that, they have an appointment book that stays full, booked 2-3 weeks out. Getting him in would require pushing another customer out and then backing the whole day up. Sorry bro, we leave at 5. Same with wraps, we're backed up a month easy, and you'll get some that think their money is worth more and wants you to put them in line ahead of allllll the others that are already on schedule, and in the shop. I got condescending and direct with one Tuesday as a matter of fact.

Sorry to hear the pup is still MIA. I had one that knew it was close to her time and she went off and hid to pass alone. That might be what happened. I'm very sorry either way, yes they become our kids. Tommy, you got enough going on wears me out reading all that lol. Busy a bit here today, found out after I sent one to production that it's a full wrap and not a partial, nobody told me, so now it's start over time and I'm getting hollered at. Ready to go home. Arron is sick but better and fever is gone. His boss last night called to check on him and asked if he had Covid saying everyone else up there had it, so I tested him, he was positive. I went to doc for unrelated issues today and I tested negative, intending on it staying that way. also I got the first normal BP reading I've had in a couple years. Sick of docs scolding me claiming it's my bad habits causing elevated BP when it's chronic pain and inflammation. I got an SI joint injection and one for outer hip too and suddenly my pain is mostly gone and my bp is back to normal. Docs never listen.

My apple watch don't call 911 and I give it plenty of reasons to I think. Maybe it's cause I have an older one. Got home not too long ago from UAMS in Little Rock, got my SI joint injections and some on outer hip, now I hurt all over from it. Figure we'll see if it works next few days when it all kicks in. I hate going over there, it was 65 and sunny here today, figures when I have crap to do and can't sit and enjoy it. Arron is sick had high fever last night and still has fever today, said he has some sinus drainage so guessing he has some of the crud going around. He has a truck here to look at and one next town over that needs an O2 sensor to finish up. Figure he'll call off work again tomorrow. Gris, hope DW is feeling better.

rainy and dreary here, Arron was headed to do an O2 sensor change then decided to push that off till tomorrow, he went back to bed. I think I'm bout to hit the couch. Just one of those days. Rain supposed to move out late tonight then sunny tomorrrow, I have to be in Little Rock by 1030am so I'll be off to bed early. Not much happning here.

I'm with Tommy, use that stuff up. Currently, send some to us over here near Memphis. "protesters" have blocked the bridge into Tennessee. I think all them should be jailed.
Sunny somewhat here, wasn't a bad day at all. Spent half the day adding tags to junk then up there sorting through the flea market booth, they're filling up with vendors, still building booths and such. Came home and have been doing a few things, can't tell it though. Watered a plant in the living room then saw water in the floor, guessing my drip pan has a crack or something, now I think I've ruined that part of the floor. We'd planned to do new flooring at some point anyway, but don't want it worse than it already is. I just want to get my favorite things and just start over somewhere else.

I do have that same weather, sunny here, will be nice tomorrow then rain sets in and clearing off Monday. Of course, while I was at work it was fabulous, but rains when I'm off and considering taking the Vette for a nice Sunday drive. got up this morning and drove to Jonesboro and went to the gym, then a couple grocery stores and home. I need to put tags on some more junk to take to the flea market booth, of course cousin went up there with more of her stuff and used up all my tag strings. I can't stand crap like that. I mean I bought them, go buy your own. And now, I don't have any and will have to get back out later to get more. She gets on my last nerve.

This month went by fast. Sunny again here today, not as warm out but still very nice in the sun. Busy as heck at the office, have a break but a food truck is due in here any minute. I hate doing those, way too much PITA involved and they expect it to be cheap for 4x as much work. Gris glad the car is all sorted out, wonders what a good mechanic can do, they're handy to have. Hope you heal up quick Tommy. Matt, hope you can get relief from your shift, tired all the time isn't good for the mental or physical health.

Warm and 60 with sun here today, just like I predicted - while I'm at work and can't be home outside to partake. Took a break or two outside and enjoyed every second. I'm with others, if Trump or Biden is my only choice it ain't gonna be Joe. I'm ready for housing rates to come back down, prices on stuff to come back down, especially groceries. Don't figure they will, it all started when dipshits wanted $15/hour to flip a burger, trickle down economics. Your product price increases, the cost goes up. I'm bout ready to sell the house, cash out and buy a motor home and just float. I can use my cousin's house for a permanent address for stuff. Speaking of her, we went in together on a flea market booth at a new spot in town, ya'll pray I get this to work and actually make money. I have to declutter and I still have a ton of glassware and other vintage junk to get rid of. I like my stuff but a lot of it I bought to sell, not keep. The gal that was auctioning my stuff ducked out, 2 back surgeries and husband on the road a lot with his competition bbq stuff he needs her help. She owed me money, because she literally lost her ass. I feel sorry for her but I need cash coming in and junk out of my house.

we still have no sunlight here, the Arkies are restless. I'm going bonkers as a matter of fact, ready to just pile up with a blanket, snacks, a cbd gummy and sit in front of the tv till the gloomies go away. Supposed to be sunny today and rest of week, fingers crossed. It'll likely happen when I'm back at work and can't be out to enjoy it. No plans today other than cleaning and I"m not in the mood. If Arron ever gets out of bed I'm proposing late lunch at the Awful Waffle then maybe flea market. I need to get my walk in sometime today too. Made a wonderful roast duck last night for supper, best I've ever done on one, pan dripping gravy, organic purple sweet potatoes and crisp steamed asparagus. the butter/seasoning I used I need to write down so I can replicate it later. Thinking a lamb roast maybe with it. I reduced normal bake time and left it in there longer, then cranked it up a bit at the end. Beautifully browned and juicy.

Been kinda busy today, helping in production a bit to get a two last minute Chick Fil-A vans done, have quotes out on a couple things, have 2 vans and a pickup across the street getting done and some film going up at Riceland. It pays the bills and ensures I have a job.

Needs a lifter so that'll tie him up about 3 hours. I figure if I intend to clean anything in here that will be my cleaning window. Can't clean with a man in the house.

Cold here today too doc visit to find out I have bronchitis which I already knew, but have antibiotic and inhaler now. Groceries got, visited cousin and back home. Supposed to be single digits tonight then start warming up. I'm freezing, ready to pile up in my jammies on the couch in front of the heater. Need to fix supper first though and get that out of the way, Arron should be home in a bit.

If you aren't getting helped in my side of the building, then sit where you belong. I don't want to hear that crap while I'm working and putting feet up on furniture is just lazy and rude. Won't discuss how messy they leave the bathroom.

Cold here too Gris. Single digits when I left, had to be at dentist at 8, ice still on my windshield since I've not moved the SUV all weekeend. All clean now only to hear it will be covered again tomorrow with a "winter mix". I'm so ready for spring.

I honestly dont see how people live in areas with minus anything temps. Or even single digits. And they do it on purpose at that. Makes no sense to me. I dont want to be here either, but the way housing rates are looks like im stuck a while.

My sinus crud was trying to make a comeback and robbed me of energy I need to get stuff done around here. Oh well, it'll be there when I get back to it. Temps to drop til they hit 6, up from the -3 we were predicted. Of course when it gets this cold does it really matter what that number says? I can't differentiate. Anything under 75 is cold to me. Chili, chicken and dumplings and next weeks meal prep hopefully will get made today. Need to do laundry, dust and deep clean too, dont have that much ambition.

Have a ton to do around here and no energy, feels like I got my cold back actually. Arron is just getting up, must be nice. Happy Birthday Tee! gloomy here too but the sun did come out for a bit. It rained cats and dogs last night and wind blew like all get out I guess. I woke up to find one of the patio umbrellas had blown over and knocked over a 5' iron plant stand up against the bedroom patio door. Not sure how I slept through that but do have a good idea. A friend gave me some THC/CBD gummies for sleep yesterday and I ate a whole one. Slept till 10. It was marvelous. I probably should have taken just a half but I was also not going to take my Lunesta so was afraid not to take a whole one. I had dreams and everything so must've been good sleep. Tomorrow is supposed to be 40s and sunny so I'll try to get done what I can and hunker down that evening. Got chili and chicken and dumplins planned. We get snow Sunday and Monday, but they did say no ice and it will be a dry snow. At least it's a little good news

Sunny and beautiful ,nearly 60 here today. thunderstorms turn into winter mix tomorrow and we will have a 40* temp swing in one day. Arkansas. Sunday and Monday we get snow, then -6 I saw latest, then fake spring by end of week. Have I said I hate it here? Not got much done at work, went through my vaca pics, that's bout it. Stores here already out of milk and bread. I don't get it. What, 3 days max? Just how much milk and bread can a person go through in that time? People are pigs and buy it all up and then those that really need it can't get it and those that bought it end up tossing it cause it goes bad before they can use it. Does this happen everywhere or just here?

Sunny and almost 50 here today, bit warmer tomorrow then our deep freeze comes. I never dug up the tropical elephant ears, my fault, so if they're still there I'll try to get them this weekend. We'll hit -3 here. I figured we'd have a decent winter but we're about to get snow Monday they say.

Good afternoon, cold and rainy here today. My vaca spot in Fla got hammered with naders, I figure that storm cell was where the horrific rain came from that I drove home from Little Rock in. Storm goes from the gulf to Canada. We're due some -3 temps next week, really not in the mood for that crap. Just when I thought we'd have a decent winter and nothing harsh, here it comes. I have got to find a way to move away from here. not much work today so been an easy, although lengthy day.

No blizzard here, just ugly and raining and cold. Per the norm for our winters, we don't get pretty snow usually. Had doc appt in Little Rock (just over 2 hours away) supposed to get an SI injection to help with pain and I didn't. They all got their wires crossed and today was eval only even though the hip doc already did that. I go back Febrary 5. Another month to wait. This has drug out over 5 years, I don't have that much more life left to keep on waiting over and over. I mean I'm not old per se but I've lost almost 6 years to this, I think that's enough. I drove home in a horrific storm, got within an hour of home and it looked like it was clearing off. Storm was just following me and now it's made it here. And, weather dude says snow is behind that. Ick. Of course my weekend is over and back to the office tomorrow.

Good evenin, been gloomy and rainy here all day, was just supposed to be cloudy. Everybody here got snow yesterday except this tiny town. We got rain, of course. I'm over it, bring on spring. I've lost track of my days. Picked up a bug right before we came home from the beach and I guess I still have it. Home from work Thursday, made dinner, sat on couch, fell alseep, woke up 9:30 flipped over, slept more and woke up near midnight, then went to bed and slept till 830 friday AM. No sleeping meds needed. Went to get hair done at 1, left there at 430, came home, napped some more. Not done much today either, except straighten up the house some and a bit of laundry. We got up and went to town, I checked out a couple new Harley's one was a new trike. I LOVE that thing, but $33 large I don't see me getting it. Did get a new jacket ordered tho. Arron got me one for Christmas but I need a longer one that's more suited to riding it should be here next week. He also got me some new pots and pans, that hexclad stuff. I've swapped all of em out in the cabinet and now I need to find a needy person to give mine to. I'd rather see someone get a decent set of Bobby Flay cookware that can use it who might not can afford decent stuff.

good afternoon - gloomy and cold here, Vette club meeting to night. I'd just as soon skip it but it's at a favorite bbq joint, but it's a half hour away. Real good prices on 1" pork steaks and they're tender. Plus a member has a book she's bringing me and it's time to pay dues. I can get Arron a plate too, since he's gonna be at a side job and we should get home about the same time.
Tommy, fix-a-flat is your friend. My dolly wheels are still holding up so I can move my big 22" pots around. Or, $6 at Harbor Freight for a new wheel. I've not got my Christmas stuff down yet either, been gone, then got sick, then been at work. So, it will be at least this weekend before I am able. And, that will be a Sunday depending on when I can get help.

good morning, what's left of it. Yes, plenty to do and as I say, "it'll be there when I get back to it". My energy level has been low, but I try to get my crap done. House needs deep cleaned and purged and not only do I not have the physical energy to do that, I don't have the mental energy to either. i've set aside Friday afternoon to do some of it, pickup and crap at least. Getting the crud while on vaca has sapped what energy I did have. Gloomy outside today, full crew back in office so it's a bit quieter on my end.

Cold here too and will only top out mid 40s all week. I came to work today and door was locked. Nobody said anything about being closed and it's Tuesday. Turns out tint guys took today off for whatever reason, didn't tell anybody. Would been nice to know since I'm sick too and could've stayed home and cleaned house. One of the others got in touch with owner, he came and let me in, asked to see the book, yep, today was marked off. Never in 31 years have we been closed the day after new years. So, here I sit, unsupervised, doing my work, and answering my phone, and theirs, booking them appointments and such. heck, Owner told one lady her van is done to pick it up today and I allegedly have a trailer getting dropped off. Already got into a fight with an old geezer over card fees. Now I'm coughing my head off cause I didn't need to be talking to start with . New year sure starting off well.

We got home from the beach about 115 this morning, up at 9, not sure why. Gloomy here and of course, 67 and sunny there. Had a cold spell in the middle of our week, but we did sit out yesterday till about 2 and headed home. I also made a 'bucket list' 6 mike trek along the end of the 'cape' at Cape San Blas, made it, put my palm front out, grabbed about 3 shells and came back. Only 3 because they were all big as my hand, shouldda took a baggie. Now I have blisters on the arches of my feet. Good excuse to stay in my chair today. Might go eat Chinese later, that's gonna be bout it for us.

Good evenin, cool here where we are, bout 55 today. We're in Panama City Beach and drove over to the Cape today. I walked all the way from the parking at what's called the stumphole, and walked all the way to the tip and back. Was bout a couple hours worth of walking. Wind was up quite a bit but it was fine long as the sun was out. Stopped at the raw bar there and had some oysters and a beer and headed back to the condo. Tomorrow is our last day here , headed home Sunday. Back to work Tuesday. Not in the mood for it. Where has the year gone?

I need a massage. Might get out and find me that tomorrow . Not done much today just hold the beach chair down, eat, drink, continue. Hit a couple thrift stores today then dinner at a local spot with some live music. Older lady that’s played with some big names. I sat next to her GF, another friend of hers and the owner of the restaurant. Nice folks, good drinks and food. Back at condo with the tv and Patron

Good evening, finally made it to the beach, decent weather but no sunset clouds came back. We got home yesterday from two places then packed and laid down to nap about 7, couldn’t sleep so we were up at 1, left bout 2. Got here plenty enough time to hit our favorite donut shop and get a burger then visit a state park. Check in was a breeze and condo is way better than expected. I bet I’m asleep soon.

We had a good day, was supposed to be gone but I didn't book like I should have so last minute plans to hit two places. Not really time to cook so made my bunch's favorite cheese toast with swiss and parmesan, then assembled some red rose/white carnations/accessories flower arrangements for both places, and took a bottle of wine to my bunch, plus some small stuff, same to his bunch. I gave away a half gallon bottle of wine to my bunch and got three back in return from his bunch as they make their own. And, Arron did stupendously well on gift-giving, I got a new Harley leather jacket, and a set of Hexclad pans and skillets. Packed those plus a bottle of Patron in my beach gear and loaded up and ready to head out.

We're still up in the air about leaving on a trip, not sure what his hold up is. I want to go, I have rooms picked out, I'm good if we leave tomorrow and take our time, get a room halfway etc. Or we can hit it hard and drive it straight. I don;t care but dont want to be cooped up here all week. And, with a replacement heat pump thing for the shop, that cuts into my funds. That might be his hesitance too. I have it but don't want to come off it.

Tee, I don't know what that alcohol is you mention, I've no woodworking refinishing experience. I can work saws and assemble etc, but not finishing. I'd like to do it myself but am afraid to try and my stuff not match. Legs are perfect so didn't want to jack with those if I didn't have to, same for the chairs except the one part of the single chair that needed work. I did see some stuff that supposed to take those water rings out: Guardsman Watermark Remover and Restor-a-Finish Semi Transparent by Howards.

Nothing happening here today tho except maybe some laundry and cleaning. And, i have spider mites all over the plants so there's that headache. Why skeeters, wasps, whiteflies, spider mites and the like exist I'll never know.

Twas the day before Christmas, with bad weather reports, and the folks of Jonesboro were out wearing shorts. Rushing to Walmart for some milk and potatoes, and maybe some candles in case of tornadoes. While many are dreaming a Christmas of white, I'm wondering if I'll need my AC tonight. Before you start thinking my cheer sounds too haw, I'm just saying Merry Christmas from good ole Arkansas

Was overcast here today too, sun in and out. We went to next town to fix the old motorhome of our electrician's son, they need to sell it. Needs a new neutral safety switch. I'm negotiating with the old man as we need a new 3ton heat pump thing. I have electric. He has a complete package, an old unit from a local church, not used much - it's gas. For $350 for all of it plus his install will run me about 1000. I think I'm in. We don't use it much either, and gas for us will be cheaper to run when we do need it.
We also decided to flea market after that and hit the local Abilities Unlimited and I saw an MCM dinette - upon closer inspection, it's a 1965 Heywood Wakefield. 6 chairs, table with 3 leaves. Table top needs redone, one chair needs a repair. It lists for $5k on Charish.com, which I know is overpriced but heck, I paid $70 for ALL of it. I have a big double pedestal chunky set (6ft expands to 8, 6 chairs) I think I'll sell and use this more streamlined set. Same amount of seats and don't take up near as much room. Bless Arron and my shenanigans. We took chairs home, then all the way back for table top, then another 40 mins to the next town so he could eat Italian and then shopped more and came home. I don't know how to refinish a table top but I reckon I'm bout to learn.

Marcus buying cars is nuts no matter what. Arron's dealership has a '16 Silverado with only 30k miles, wanting to sell it to him for 34000. He said well, maybe we'll trade. He has a 17 model with sunroof heated seats etc with 120k miles. Figured 5,000$ difference. They only wanted to give him $12 for his truck which books out at 29. The other truck is an LTZ but ours is an LT but he ordered with all the junk on it anyway, came out cheaper to do. if they'll rip off their own , you know they'll do it to others. I have zero problem saying "no thanks" and walking off.

Sunny today and supposed to be 60, rain slides in Sunday. At the office on my off day, just in case that trailer guy approves and I can send it to printer. No word. Figures. He wanted this thing by January 3 and I could make it happen but he has been slow to respond so it's on him. I do know they have a big auction that started yesterday, going through today so guessing that's it. I tried. I'll just sit here and hold the chair down. I brought cupcakes for the guys, we got them at the Vette party and sick of looking at them. Some are regular ones some are giant fancy ones. Also collected my box of candy, card and money from the owner so win-win. Still up in the air about going someplace next week, Cali is a bit far for me to be driving but I did consider it.

Gloomy here off and on, still too cold for me, rain headed our way, across the whole nation. Still checking weather for Pensacola, thinking this will be a no-go this year. I'm not spending money to sit in the rain, I can do that here. Plus, I think here it will be sunny now. Who knows, mother nature needs a midol. Have sent the trailer dude proofs but no word back. They started a huge auction today with 1700 items so I figure he's busy. I tried. I also looked at the auction and saw a ton of crap I want and don't need. Or maybe I do. Might go look again. Saw tons of cars, trucks, motorcycles, you name it. Gonna kill me seeing all that go for practically nothing. Saw a Snapon Box it was already up to 800 tho. Tommy, very sorry about the breakin. I can't stand a thief. I hope you are able to recover lost items. Been broke into before, very unnerving and heartbreaking too.

I'm not sure about other women, but for me - depending on budget - a monthly "massage services" membership or just a couple of them, upgrade to my phone, new laptop or tablet, new pots and pans? I actually asked for some Hexclad this year, and we try to take a beach trip so that's really my Christmas is him driving us.

Tried a new sleep med last night - an herbal one, so I could get off the Lunesta - had the opposite effect so I feel like smeared poop today. that was $40 and no refunds, and with so much B6 in there they should've figured out I can't have it since I'm twice as high on that anyway than I need to be.
