In golfing events, TV viewers have called in about rule violations allot. So if if he didn't call it on himself some viewer would have. He did the right thing. I'm a big golfer and the rules sometimes stinks, but thats the game. People will remember that, more so than Furyk winning the thing.

Spend it while you got it !! That way I'll have everything I need when I retire. Then I resort to bartering until everything is gone, I'll probably be dead before that. Then the kids can have the junk thats left. Hehe

They spent 100 million on this thing. Took what, years to build ? I guess they sent the maintenance man to home depot and put up a plywood wall. Overnight. Brilliant. At least it may save a life.

My wife a got a yard of mulch last year and a wheel barrow. That went over better than the candy, which I ate, yum.

We got sups who make the unassigned driver line up in the morning. The drivers show up and start dealing with each other about who is more qualified to do that specific area. They settle on what is the best strategy and then management gets all pissed off and starts threatening these guys for insubordination. They don't like being undermined and would rather send a driver out blind than admit that someone had a better idea.

Most UPS upper management people at one time drove a truck. In the old days you didn't go nowhere in UPS unless you drove a package car. Customer Service, Account Execs. all, except part time help. This concept wouldn't change anything, all management people were better drivers than you. ( So they think ) I liked the look on the other execs faces as well, But I think it was more like " yeah right" mentality.

When you find what you want, use the "Watch this item" feature. Hit that and stockpile all your items. Now watch them all according to ending time. Also check the Bid history. That way you know how many interested people there are. The time listed on bidding history is good indication of who is also watching as the ending time draws closer. Use an extra 20 bucks on your maximum bid, that way if someone is trying to outbid you he may run out of time jacking with his bid. Then you may win only paying something close to your intentional bid. AND, hehe, if he wants it worst then you, he paid way too much. TOOSHAY !!

I thought the avatars were classless, much like Hot Chick Friday. You can't be everything to everyone, this should be the technical Corvette site it was intended to be, not a collection of raunchy avatars and nonsense.

This is the "OFF TOPIC" section. Sorta anything goes. If I see "Hot Chick Friday" I have a choice not to open. ( I always do though ) If I need technical I know where to go. This section is for general conversation. Since I don't have a lot going on with my car this is where I spend most of my time. Just my 2 cents. I wouldn't change a thing.

I had a good friend, in my longer days, whose dad was a deputy sheriff. He had the "The Anarchist's Cookbook" laying around. We read thru it and I couldn't believe something like that was ever published. Freedom of the press, sure, but I didn't need to know twenty different ways to hang someone. Yikes !!

I thought Leno was hurting the local news ratings, not necessary his own. Rumors were that some local stations just weren't going to show Leno if the network didn't do anything about it.

Once you get the cover off, just cover the cell with electric tape. No light no more. I didn't pull the bulb. My Service LPTWS light drove me crazy. The system still works, I think microwaves or something sets it off.

The bolts will extend out to compensate for the thicker slave housing. I just put a wrench on it and once it broke free I hand twisted it out. Removed the lower one completely and it makes it much easier install. Once it's hanging on the top bolt, just rethread the lower bolt.

I found that removing the lower mounting bolt, made it easier to mount the slave cylinder, pressure in the boot makes it very hard to push the slave onto the mounting bolts. then thread the lower bolt into the bell housing and the nut should have enough thread to catch and tighten down.

My old pickup has 136K, running Amsoil, at 9K the oil is actually still amber colored and fairly clear. Drive it daily, I think its pretty good. Didn't get Amsoil this time, and put Mobil 1 in, will watch it closely.

My car actually did belong to my dad. ( I never knew him, my parents divorced when I was very young) My stepmom found me 40 years later and told me my real father died of cancer in 92. Turned out she and half sister lived in Houston on the other side of town. We got close and found out he was a vette fan. Well he had this car and hardly drove it because he was very sick, and finally lost his battle with cancer. So my stepmom gave it to me, mint condition, 16K miles, she spent some bucks getting it back to a drivable state (it sat for 12 years) So its my DADS90.
