20% xylene or toluene mixed with 93 produces nice results.

32s would not be too much, you would not be out of range, of course it will need to be tuned with any larger injectors, but 32's will work and give room to grow.

If the injectors are too large, they will pump too much fuel into the engine even at the minimum pulse rate, causing it to be nearly impossible to get the car to idle.

That "Urban Hunt" is fantastic... I'm jealous

.308 is fantastic, but with my average shot's being between 50-150 yards, there is no need for the extra size and kick.

30-06 is about perfect for this area, and is very high on my list.

Lots of guys here use .270, But its just not in my mind that it's a hunting round lol.

My dad used a 7mm wby mag, and that was one of the nastiest, flattest shooting things I've had the pleasure of. But I'm not reaching out 500-700 yards, so it's just too much.

The 7mm-08 seems like the perfect balance between .308 and 30-06 based on ballistics, and stroke length.

As an addition to my pool players thread, I was wondering if there is any hunters in our circle of friends?

I've never been legitimately hunting before (AKA: Waiting) But I have stalked, had some deer wander onto my property, things like that.

But I want to go legit. Now I'm a firearms guy (competition handguning, 3 gun tactical, etc.) own several of all kinds of weapons, but no real "Hunting Rifle", I have rifles that would be WAY too heavy to carry through the woods, and would provide 0 usable meat with a kill haha. I have small arms that I can unload an unholy amount of lead at the target, but over 150 yards it's more of "accuracy by volume" lol

Now, remember I'm in Florida, small deer, thick brush, longest shot will be 300 yardsish, average will be 50ish. So I'm leaning to a 30-30 or a 7mm-08 for rifle.

But I'm REALLY getting hung up on bows, I want to get a bow. It seems like an amazing amount of fun (providing you don't fall asleep and fall out of your stand) and bows are so techy now they really appeal to my geekyness lol.

SO! Any hunters?

Going through my clutch adventures I would recommend the Centerforce Dual Friction.

I was going to go Spec, but heard many many many horror stories about them dying really quickly.

Also heard Carolina Clutch is made by Spec so I avoided them.

It does still have the cats, stock manifolds.

Mine looks exactly like pictured, but I believe mine is an earlier design that did not have the crossover.

I picked it up used a few years back used for $125.

+ 1 on the chambered cat back (LT1). Mine has zero drone at cruise (70).
Pretty loud everywhere else though. Does sound a bit like mt C2's sidepipes.

I really do love mine. I've just been trying to figure out a way to put an X pipe in it, as mine is just true duals, but with the chambered pipe I have no idea if you even could cut/weld on it

Thanks Josh!

Clutch got here today, looks identical to the pics.

Sat it on top of my FW and there is a gap between the FW and PP where the bolt holes are.. normal since it's not torqued?

Also, got a quote from the local dealership for the install minus the Hurst, $750.

Not bad, stilll gonna call around

New brakes are on the truck.

Asked at the stealership about labor costs for my clutch install

Was quoted $750 for FW, clutch, PP, TOB, and hydraulics, but not including the shifter

Thanks Matthew, it's a long long (but pretty damn romantic story)

I've known this girl for almost 2 years, and have been nuts over her forever, been friends the whole time.

Last night she starts telling me how she regrets not being with me more, and how her mother kept calling her scared for not being with me despite her feelings etc.

She asked me last night if I wanted to be with her than she would be mine completely.

Only downfall is her timing.. she is in the navy now, stationed somewhat nearby, so seeing each other wont be too bad, but it's still a minor bummer.

And as requested..

Seems like my well of information here is drying up haha.

Wondering what I should be expecting as far as a labor charge to get this box of stuff in the car? I don't have access to alldata anymore to get the time from there.

To be installed..

Clutch, Flywheel, Pressure plate, throwout bearing
Clutch master and slave cylinders
Tranny fluids
Hurst shifter install (figured it'd be a lot easier with the tranny out)
rear main seal
unscrewing and screwing in my new reverse lamp switch

That's all for now, unless my Guru's can tell me any other "while you're in there" items.

I have a vacuum line off from my cruise control servo that I can't trace.

It's not the one going to the T right near the fender, tis the other one that runs back passed the master cylinder, anyone know where the hell it goes?

Was driving the vette and the brake pressure light came on, still stops great.

Couple days later now, light is still on, pedal feels stiffer than it used to.

Any info?

When I get home from work I thought about putting my autotap on it, but I have no idea if that will report anything.

Tricky decision about dragging a C4... upgrade the half shafts and stubs and break the ring, or leave it alone and save the ring

Love yellowbullet, stuff like that reminds me of my dirt track days with my cousins.

Ripped the engine out of his pickup one saturday at about 6pm to drop it in the street stock car to make it to the race at 8 haha.

Sunday we put it back so he could get to work
