Good luck on the maintenance work Andrew. I have been fighting my own problem on the 84, MICE...I found droppings, insulation and a nest (was empty). I now have 5 dead mice and haven't seen any evidence of others. I haven't pulled the seats to look under them yet or have checked the blower motor another favorite spot for them I guess. I believe the only electrical trouble so far is the radio won't come on, the car will start and the gauges and dash lights work so I am hoping it's just wires ate...I am thinking of coming out to the corvette cup again possibly, haven't decided yet. Good Luck with your work and your car is still one of my favorites. Later... Dale

Yep, sure is. Vista was an operating system that was pushed through before it was actually ready. XP is by far a better OS than vista was. Win7 is so much better than Vista or XP. I do agree with everyone else, a clean install would be better.

Good Luck to ya...

Just found this on another forum for you. I hope this helps you out..

TTS NOT Vista compatible
The vendor got back to me and confirmed that TTS Datamaster is not Vista compatible and they won't get around to fixing it "any time soon" if at all.

Thanks for the info...
I have the ECM out, PROM looked to be installed O.K. and the original one. I've located a replacement ECM, we'll give it a try.
Hopefully this will solve it.
I'm really hoping to make it to Bloomington Gold next weekend at Pheasant Run!

If the ecm doesn't fix it, then it probably is the chip. You taking the car to Bloomington Gold or just going to spectate?

TJ,

I have owned 3 blazers all with four wheel drive, including the '00 I am driving now. Never had any problems with the engines. Good vehicles in my opinion, but you all ready know that with your ZR2, which was what I was looking for before settling on the blazer. Good Luck with your latest purchase. I am certain between you and Matt you guys will figure it out.

I recall my first time with a condom, I was 16 or so. I went in to buy a packet of condoms at Marine's pharmacy.

Mr. Marine's eldest daughter was working behind the counter, and she could see that I was embarrassed. She handed me the package and asked if I knew how to wear one. I honestly answered, 'No, this is my first time.'

So she unwrapped the package, took one out and slipped it over her thumb. She cautioned me to make sure it was on tight and secure.

I apparently still looked confused. So, she looked all around the store to see if it were empty. It was empty. 'Just a minute,' she said, and walked to the door, and locked it..

Taking my hand, she led me into the back room, unbuttoned her blouse and removed it. She unhooked her bra and laid it aside. 'Do these excite you?' She asked, holding her breasts up for me to see.

Well, I was so dumb-struck that all I could do was nod my head and drool!

She then said it was time to slip the condom on. As I was slipping it on, she dropped her skirt, removed her panties and lay down on a desk. 'Well, come on,' she said, 'We don't have much time..'

So I climbed on her. It was so wonderful, but unfortunately, I could no longer hold back and KAPOW, I was done within a few moments.

She looked at me with a bit of a frown. 'Did you put that condom on?' she asked.

I said, 'I sure did,' and held up my thumb to show her.

Then she beat the crap out of me.......

LMAO....

I had to bite my tongue when that guy was telling me the '78 had those pipes stock.

Yeah the weather was good. Cool at first, got very sunny and comfortable, and I got a bit pink on my face and neck.

The WBY next to Andrew belongs to Kyle from TN. He drove up to stay with us for the weekend. I met him over at DC. When he got up here I told him of the show Saturday, and he was stoked.

He ended up getting an award for furthest distance traveled, and he had the only pre-'73 C3 Vette.

That's two guys that have won the furthest award going to shows with you guys...

Nice 84 you have there Kay. Just wondering about the air cleaners you have on there. I would guess that you still have the crossfire injection due to the location of the air cleaners. Hi X-Fire,

you're right it's a crossfire with 2 Edelbrock Pro-Flo's on top.

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/EDL-1002/

Those are reusable/ washable foam filters that save me a lot of money.

Thanks,
Kay

How was the installation for these? I know there is a couple of hose that go into the big box, what did you do with these? That price is really affordable and doable...

Thanks,
Dale

I was using the orig. 2 mounting frames for each injector from the original air cleaner housing to get the chrome filters on. A hammer and a few screws were my best friends. The injector houses are fitting perfectly into the Pro Flo's.
All the hoses got removed and kicked into trash. Also that ugly and unnecessary metal hose coming from the header.
Simply plug the vacuum sources with a few gum caps and leave only the air compressor hose open.

If you need further details just send me a PM and I could make a few snaps and send it to you.

Sincerely,
Kay

Ok. Thanks I was wondering about the hoses. I will look into them. I am not to far from Jeg's warehouse/store may go there and have a look at them. I may get back with you later on the setup and all..again thanks for your time Kay.

I am in the process of putting in a new cooling fan switch in my 84. I just purchased the switch today. I was getting things ready to install tomorrow..I just looked at the harness/pigtail and the end that goes into the switch is very broken up and brittle. The other end of the wire looks like it goes to a ground on the engine, am I right in saying this or is it more involved? I am using the stock setup as it works pretty good until I found the switch broken. I am not putting in a manual switch to control the fans myself, so it will be kept stock. I am going to order the factory harness/pigtail today. Any help would be appreciated...

Hey Dale. The Corvette got here safe and sound yesterday. I washed it off and gave it a nice detail and took it for it's first NY cruise. It sure got some attention up here.

Thanks for the kind words. I'll be back next year in Columbia for the Corvette Cup to visit. I hope you and your wife can make it again as I had a blast hanging out with you. I'll be Corvette-less but it sure will be nice to see all my Corvette buddies again.

Curtis

I think where ever you drive the green machine it's always going to get looks. I am planning on returning to the Corvette Cup next year, even if the wife doesn't make it.
