Thanks, I have been lucky this year, haven't spent much money on her. A little wax and a lot of gas.

Try looking at the wire terminals where they are connected to the wires. This is a good place for corrosion to hide. Seems like corrosion problems get worse when hot.
good luck.

That is cool. Nice looking group you travel with.
My 97 p/u turned 200k last year on the way down to Port canavarel, I was running 103 at that minute. Speed limiter wouldn't let it do any more. we were stuck in a huge forest fire, roads were closed behind us, the smoke was so bad I did not care if I got a ticket or not ,Just needed to breathe.

WOW, Thank you. Great pics, and explanations.
I know you enjoyed watching, and I really appreciate your effort to help.
You are one of the reasons this forum is becoming so popular.

Wish I had known about the expo a little earlier I put-off a trip to the Jacksboro area this week. I allways find a need to be up there in late Oct.

I would appreciate that.
I think there is a tag inside, I may be able to contact the manufacturer.
If I keep the top down all the time no one will see it.

Excellent!

Thank you. I spent most of a year shopping for a red one.
I looked at vettes from Ga. to California. ( Every business trip included a search of that part of the country ) Found this one about 5 miles from home.

Just above the back window there is a bead across the top where two panels are joined. I noticed this bead started separating. Didn't notice any thread holding it together. Is this maybe glued? Any ideas how to repair?
Thanks in advance.

Try "Microsoft toys for Windows" It has a simple resizing function. The small wasn't enough. Had to use custom option. If it is easy enough for me anybody can do it.

Welcome aboard.

Why do we have to wait?
If you are worried about the effect cold will have on the Hooter girls I don't think anybody will mind. Might make for some interesting pics.LOL You may have to tip them a little more, but we could take up a collection.

Quick question on the right side. Does yours rotate enough inward to get a good view? I installed the right side on mine and it doesn't turn all the way in to get a good view. I know mine never came with a right side mirror.

Hey Curtis, is yours a remote control? I installed a after market one on my wifes DD, it had the little joy stick inside. It would not turn in enough, Turns out I could move it around alittle and it freed up the control wires.
Now I'm her hero.

Right side mirrors are like luggage racks...People love them or hate them. I like them both. I think I am in the minority though.
