We looked for you but didn't see you or the wife. It was fun to attend one last time before NASCAR screws it up.

We did, it was a GREAT race! It was good to see the #3 Corvette get the win in GT & Lucus Luhr get his record setting 43rd win in the #6 Muscle Milk P1 car. Here are a few pictures;

Where are you all staying this time?

We should all be at the track on Thursday. Bastet and I are coming in from JAX, and we should be to the track by 2pm or so. KPotter is coming in from Davenport and should be there by about 10am or 11am. Tommy is coming from Homestead, and I have no clue when he plans on leaving!

I am debating on renting a golf cart.

Thursday night in Winter Haven, Friday & Saturday nights in Sebring. We should be @ the track Thursday afternoon. We have passes for the Audi & Corvette Corrals. You should get a cart if you still can, money well spent.

I'm still a fan of using star washers on ground wires. They will "bite" into both the grounding surface & the cable end. They also help to keep the cable or wire tight.

Thanks everyone, I'll make sure and tell Kathy. BG was a great show. The weather was almost perfect on Saturday. There is so much we wanted to see that we really needed a couple of days. The "barn find" was a '57 that had been parked for over 40 yrs. It was really a cool display. I got to meet one of my favorite drivers from the 60's & 70's, Tony DeLorenzo. Tony and his '67 L-88 Corvette were inducted into the Great Hall this year.

Thank you. No, she doesn't have photo credentials...yet, but we know people that help her get to some great viewing areas. She's always looking for new places around the track to get shots.

She is lucky, then! Her stuff looks press ready, really. Excellent.

I end up having to find angles that alllow me to crop out the walls and fences... it ain't easy at times!

Oh, we need to talk golf cart, too.

Thanks for the kind words. Kathy puts a lot of time and work into her pictures. Of course luck has a lot to do with it as well.
The golf cart is well worth the money. We get one @ Road Atlanta as well.

Tommy, really does suck... Better luck on the next option. What is a shame is that property was adjacent to yours... is that correct? Hard to find another one of those.

I took a few minutes this morning to install the rear shocks... holy crap, the old ones were so bad I could compress them with little effort and they would NOT rebound. The rears were some cheap Monroe Sensa Tracs or something like that. I stuck them on there in a hurry a long time ago because the existing Bilstien puked oil over the garage floor.

I'm hoping to get some more quality time with the car today. I was listening to some Dolly Parton music and I think an appropriate name for my Corvette is Jolene!

I think Jolene is a great name for your car.

I agree, adding dye to the oil and checking for your leak with a blacklight is a great way to help locate the leak.

This was our 9th year & 23rd ALMS race. It was a great race from start to finish, maybe the best one yet. Olly deserves a lot of credit for keeping the pressure on the lead Ferrari and not letting them conserve fuel.
