Cant find a proper engine oil dipstick and tube

Hey guys, newbie here... I just got my first Corvette, a 1977. Unfortunately my best friend passed away, but left me his car. The engine oil dipstick tube is just stuck in the engine block, and is very loose, with no way to retain it in place. Because its not stable it is leaking oil. Everywhere I look I only find the same tube, without a seal. GRRRRR

Im hoping that someone here has found a fix for this and can give some ideas on what to do.
Thanks in advance
