I'm lowered, have the Prowler and the Big Mouth Air Dam. I hit almost everything. The prowler takes a heck of a lot of punishment and BBQ Black paint touches it right up after a bad scrape, because the Prowler is basically white underneath and shows up after scraping.

Ah, my old club (Free State). Hope your all doing well. I think it's hotter up there right now than down here in Florida. Say hello to anyone there that remembers me (Carey Mandell).

I was just appointed into the board of directors in my Corvette club down here. I was one of the founding members but never on the board. Now I'll get to have a say on where the club heading.

If you go to the site I put in my earlier response and look at the first two shirts under "Apparel", the red and green cars are Mustangs.

Yes, I would have liked him to do an updated picture with my new wheels. He had also done one of my PT Cruiser.

Crewzin, I like your avatar. How did you do it?

There was this artist named Donie, who did custom art work of your car, then you could buy articles of clothing and other things like posters and mugs with the artwork on it. Sorry to say, he stopped doing it about a year ago. Here's the on-line store that sold the stuff. You can see a few of my things in there.

Glad you found the problem. I've been away for abit and just saw your post. If you don't mind driving a little ways, I can recommend an auto shop in Inverness. The owner and one of the mechanics own their own Vette and they do mechanical and restoration work. Myself and a few others from the Citrus County Corvette Club use this shop. The owners name is Cliff and shop is located on 44E heading towards Wildwood. I don't have the exact address but the number is (352) 344-1110 and called East Cove Auto Center.

Keep the K&N but be careful when you "recharge it". Go sparingly on the red oil. Too much and it's been known to be sucked into the MAF and coat the tiny wire that's in the middle, giving bad readings to the computer. At least that's what I've read on different forums.

Welcome Bob. Great looking car. I migrated down to Florida 6 years ago from Howard County, Md. Was a long standing member of the FreeState Corvette Club. Having a blast now with plenty of time to spend on the cars, traveling and doing whatever comes to mind.

I'm on 11 different car related forums and it's slowed down on most of them. Weekends are especially quiet.

That was one of the first things that broke a lot of years ago on mine but it was on the passengers side. I went with a completely new all metal motor and arms, no plastic in it. Now when I put both windows up or down at the same time, the passengers side takes about 2 seconds and the drivers side takes about 6.

:me2: Looks a lot like the car shows I go to. If I'm not with my Corvette Club, then there's a hugh mixture of the kind of cars that show up with lots of well taken care-of classics.

I think they call that the SUISIDE lane here, and your only supposed to be on it for a very short time before your turn, but you do take yor life into your own hands whenever you move into it.

Yea, I'd take that over the other two...just to have something to tool around with. Some wild ass color to make it really stand out. I wonder if the body does lift up that easy to get at the engine?

Saw that on a Movie News spot last night. They said RD Jr. fit right into the profile of the IronMan. Seems he's supposed to be some sort of troubled drunk before he turns into the IM character.

Early C4 calipers are butt ugly, just a bunch of ribs (cooling fins), no lettering. Painted mine gloss black so they wouldn't stand out to much.

Had the starter relay do the same thing for me at the hobby shop in England while working for the Government on an Air Force base. Left it there, sent for a new one from the states and put it on myself.

Just had the Vette tires filled with Nitrogen at the local Chevrolet dealer. Heard people talking about it and all the pluses sounded good. After the fill, the Vette seemed to ride smoother...maybe just positive thinking?

It costs $59. Seems a lot, but here's what you get:

Besides the Nitrogen filled tires, free roadside assistance for 1 year and free flat repairs for 1 year. Free refills for the life of the tires.

The molecules are bigger in Nitrogen so less prone to leak. Constant pressure all the time no matter the weather, so supposedly better mileage. Reduces running tire temperature so longer life of the tire.

Does it do all that? Time will tell.

Hard to see in the angle this shot was taken. This was the Corvette show this past weekend at Dimmitt Chevrolet in Clearwater. Didn't think to take a good shot of the window stripes.

About in the ballpark, maybe a cou0le 10th off what you should be running if your stock. I'm mainly stock but with a chip. 14.2@95mph is the best I've turned. I'm running a 2.59 rear end which is good for turing but not 1/4 mile times.

No, the mags not real. Vendor takes your picture as you enter the show. Later, if you like the picture, they sell you a plain shot or they put it into a magazine cover that's pre-made. Here's one I had made last year but since I changed wheels I wanted an updated magazine cover.

I live two hours north of Clearwater/St. Pete. A lot of the good car shows are down in the Tampa/St. Pete area so I'm down there all the time attending shows with my PT Cruiser or Vette. I'm down it that area so much that I'm a member of the Tampa Bay PT Cruisers Club

The Bay Area Covette Club held a Corvette show at Dimmitt Chevrolet in Clearwater. Here's some pictures and a link if you'd care to see more. Sorry, not a lot of C4's.
