I know they were built with out V/S seals , But I always machine & run seals on the Intakes As for as what viscosity oil for you to run , Idk , without knowing your valve to guide clearances , etc...Sorry.

Andy, The more oil clearance you have, the thicker the viscosity needed, The tighter clearances require thinner viscosity.

Just to add....Your oil viscosity is relevant to your bearing oil clearances! What are those clearances?

Depends on the cylinder block casting number.... But as Will mentioned above , there are to different bolt patterns for the cam thrust plate

Just to add to Andy's comment..... It is not just the increase in power , you also have much less wear & tear on the valve train , & you don't have to worry about adding zinc additives like with flat tappet cams!

What is the outside diameter of your new pump shaft , as opposed to your old pump shaft? Any signs of wear on the pulley itself?

Sounds great & a lot of fun... Except for setting up your valve train geometry & lift......That takes time with shaft mounted rockers!

I'm looking at a 1995 Vette , great condition , auto trans , has 111,000 miles on it !!! Question is what is a good price to offer him on this Vette? My biggest concern is the car is coming from Washington , and I'm concerned about smog issues in Cali...... Any input would be greatly appreciated !!!!
