Brian -- Very impressive! I thought about an oil cooler too, but I just don't know if I really plan on tracking this car or not. I know I will do some Autocross with my club, probably 6-10 events per season. But I sure like the set-up you have. Nice big cooler too! Are you putting a fan on the cooler?

Don, be reminded that power makes heat. I didn't have to worry about temps until I did my first rebuild. Blew it up the first time on track because I added 100 horse power and no cooling power.
I'm not saying you will need it, but be aware that you certainly might. |

The Corvette Racing C5R and C6.r use the rear license plate area for a cooler - but that's for the trans and diff assembly.
First thought, that's a lot of line to run for the oil... and 2nd, if you flush mount it, how will it get airflow? |

Airflow restricted, only way to package it w/o cutting a hole in the bumper, but I got a large fan on it.
Heat is what kills FI engines, so getting all that heat out of the engine compartment seemed to be the way to go. |
