Does it roll over at 4,000 or 4,096 miles?

Ours rolled over on the way back from our Lincoln Highway trip, causing the range and average MPG indicators to lose their minds. A simple reset of the average MPG reading caused all to be good again.

that is most odd, to say the least. I don't think I have the 1987 owners manual, but I will check the service manual for 1984 and 1987... see what they say.

what MPG did you average, when calculated?

26.1 mpg, which matched my gas station receipts.
