I am not much into "toys," but we have had or C4 and Impala for a while now. I have a nice sized, detailed Impala SS model. My girlfirend mentioned to me a while back that it would be nice to have a model of the C4 to display. I have been looking for a while now but I can't seem to find a black 89 Corvette model anywhere. Somebody must make one...

Didn't the dealers used to give them out? I recall some guy on CF selling them. If that's the case I'm sure they are around. I know I've seen nice models of the newer models - there have to be some C4s.

I've seen a couple but they are all 84 Crossfire Corvettes....

They're out there. I've got a 1:24 scale of an 85 model which is no different except the rear brake light. You could get a Z06 model and steal the wheels off it.
I think Zip Corvette sells lots of different diecasts and has a few different C4 years if you're looking for that. |

ERTL makes an early C4 1:18 die cast. I have a black one with a red interior. But it is an '84. I also have a sliver one that is supposed to be from a James Bond movie. That one has the other engine. You might have to buy a couple to make the car exactly like yours.
I did manage to get Z06 wheels on a Maisto Ruby ZR1. It was not a direct fit. Some cutting, sanding and Crazy Glue were necessary for this fabrication.   |
