Both could be power, neither could be.

However, if they are, they should move fore/aft and up down with little more than an electric motor whine....

Where did the year go? still 100• here, will be all this week, 101 Thurs I think. This ain't the summer I remember as a kid. I need to join everyone else and move to Florida. If I'm gonna be where it's hot and humid at least a beach view would be nicer.

Back in the days when I had to walk barefoot to school in the scorching heat a/c was a luxury not afforded to many. I remember roasting in my attic room. (Heat rises). I had the fan going full speed and could not get comfortable. I had to fall to sleep from exhaustion. I remember the buzz cut haircuts to keep cool (and avoid lice infestations). I finally had a/c in San Antonio when I was in my 20's. Kids today don't know how rough we had it. Just like our parents suffered through WWII rationing and their parents suffered through the Great Depression and the Dust Bowl. What are the hard times kids suffer today? Lack of charging ports? Weak wifi? I'm sure they'll come up with a great story to tell their kids.

We had air in the house, often a window unit. You'd freeze in the room it was in, but back in the house it was hot so fans helped some. At school was where it was horrid. No air, high ceilings, just fans and we couldn't wear shorts, had to be long pants. I don't see how teachers made it back then. No wonder folks my age all have kidney cancer, we stayed overheated and dehydrated. Then comes marching band where you're outside from 7am to 10pm in the summers learning your stuff, and bossy directors who would only let you get a drink on certain breaks. Not much different than the football coaches.
