A few of you knew this day was coming... and here it is!

I got my 92 repainted whilst we were in Sebring. And yes, it is the stock color - Polo Green Metallic.

I am going to take some better shots next week. It needs a quick wash, then it will really shine; the dew and dust do a number on the finish!

It's a long time coming!!!!

Enjoy!

Very, VERY, nice. Your car has such a classy yet dangerous look to it.

Not a huge fan of painted rims but you make those work very well.

Oh My God!!! Looks Awesome! Amazing what new paint and wheels do to the attitude of a car.
Nice choice of wheels too, I must add! (I'm just a bit biased)

Thanks, gang!

First off, the wheels have been on the car for about a year, beleive it or not. I put them on last May.

The paint was done by a regional chain - One Day Paint - here in Torrance. Just under $2k, base/clear with full buff an color sand. All includes a 4 year warrantee. They use Sherwin-Williams paints.

No need to, really. The jambs still look ok, and they are the same shade, sorta. I haven't noticed a difference worth noting with the doors open.

yep... the corsas only use the outer tips as something of a pressure release for the resonance reduction process they use.

I just got my first quote for repair and paint on the 91 at $2800 not doing the jambs, just the exterior. Lifetime guarantee on the paint. Now you have me lookin around. I'll see what comes up. $1000 to do just the rear deck and front bumper but of course there would be paint variations between the old and new. Around the same to do the 90 but he has to check the hood first.

I know a lot of cars - mine included - photograph better than they actually look in real life. But I saw Andy's Vette last night and it looks absolutely fantastic.

If you're anywhere in the continental United States, you must make the road trip out to SoCAL to see it. I believe Andy and Tamiza will serve you some soup or something if you do!
