Spent all day detailing up the '95. It turned out real nice. I'll start working on the '74 on Tuesday as it needs a lot of attention. Here's the '95.

It's calling for scattered T-Showers on Tuesday so who knows. No big deal if I can't get it tuned before the cup. Certainly before the Dragon.

Hey, I'm finally all ready to go. Got the manual oil changed with Castrol TWS and motor oil changed with RP 20w-50, so now all I can do is wait...... Oh, almost forgot, had the exhaust clamps removed and welded. No more rubbing the road!

now that i have seen how clean, and detailed, Curtis's car is I maybe should just leave mine in the garage. I will know if i can make it by thursday....is that too late? |

In a perfect world, I would run out of work at 1:00pm today, drive home and throw a bag in the Vette, fill up the gas tank and wallet. Grab a bunch of tunes and audio books for the ride, and hit the road to Columbia, MO around 3pm. I'd roll into Columbia about 8 or 9 AM for a quick car wash and some detailing and then to meet you guys at the show. I could then nap in the sun for a couple hours to recharge!!
Oh... pinch me... wake me up...my car is still sitting in the garage waiting... waiting... waiting |

Ryan and I just got back from Mecum Auction and I couldn't leave without a purchase.... No, it's not a 67, 427/435 4 speed vert, but I'm excited about it. Got a 96 sales brochure and a special edition card by GM (pictures below). Kinda cool and I'll bring tomorrow. My C4 isn't nearly as clean, but here are some pictures after the Cali duster. We had a great time and it was nice to meet Dale (X-Fire) and his wife. They are both outstanding people and I had a blast hanging out with them. DB, Tyler, Andrew, and Ryan were all fantastic to share the day with. Here are a few more shots that I took. Not as good as Andrew's camera.

Had a great time at this show with forum members Curtis1974, Durango_Boy, Andrew, and tjpreul..these guys are great and if anyone knows them, you know what I mean...They made the trip out there, I drove out there from Ohio..very much worth it...and these pics that Curtis and Andrew posted are just a few of the great cars that were there..
