Good Morning CGs!

A little late start this morning, I was having some internet issues earlier.

Today begins my long weekend. I woke up this morning and couldn't decide what not to do first. Actually, I fed the fish and figured that would be enough, but I'd probably be bored without something to do. So I did clean the upstairs bathrooms, vacuumed, cleaned our room, a few other things. My folks are coming in later tonight so the house should be clean. I also have to cut the grass later.

I have to say that Summit is one of the best companies for on time shipping. I ordered those few things on Sunday night and it shipped Monday morning, is already on the truck for delivery today. Gotta love it.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

I've always gotten great service from Summit - no complaints here.

First night of golf league tonight, so I'm glad I'm not too stiff and sore from working on the car yesterday. I have enough challenges with my game as it is. Looks like a nice day on tap, 65 and sunny. And after attitude adjustment hour, I'll care less about my lousy game.

Have a great day, everyone!

Yea, I like Summit, but I get my shipment even faster, usually in 5 minutes from the time I place the order.

Wind? Hell yea, it's blowing 45+ here. But,looking out the window, there's a double rainbow, purdy.
The power's flickering every 3 minutes and turning off the TV and internet modem.
I better do something else for a while.

Afternoon guys, it's been a typical day here, except that I have been busy. Working on one of my students computer. What a PITA it has been.

The wife is out of town for meetings for a couple of days, so I'm on my own...except for the grandsons after school.

I've ordered from Summit a few times and they darn sure deliver fast. Wind is blowing here today as well, not as hard as Bill's wind but still windy. The C4/ZR1 gathering always sounded like a good time to me, go have fun. I haven't even thought about taking the golf clubs out of the basement yet....maybe in the next couple of days....mens night starts on Monday.

started taking my rear suspension apart yesterday

turns out I need two of the same size wrench, so I picked up another set.

after trying to get the castle nut spring adjuster off, I also decided it was time to pickup an impact gun.

a breaker bar on a nut that was attached to a spring wasn't quite working out.

go figure.

Funny thing is, the wind always seems to blower harder and hotter wherever Bill is. Strange coincidence.

BC - I needed an impact to get some of my rear suspension apart, too. Of course I didn't have one at the time, but luckily knew someone who did.

Windy and rainy here yesterday. Had to stand all the plants back up at the nursery. I started working on the second trailer today. Got all the scraping and wire brushing done. Did pretty good. Only three cuts and a jammed finger. Doing a delivery first thing tomorrow morning then I'll go back and start brushing on the primer coat. Glad I always have stuff to do. Sometimes I wish I had time to do the other stuff I want to do.

Was out at a training today. To get there I have to go past downtown LA, and I didn't realize that the funeral for Chief Daryl Gates was this morning, so traffic was reported to very very heavier, much more so than normal. I ended up just missing most of the funeral and commute traffic and made great time. I did see the hearse and its escort on the freeway on its way to the start of the procession.

Otherwise not much happening. Been working on disaster drill for tomorrow, but I think I'm all wrapped up.

Some days are better than others when it comes to owning a sportscar. Every once in awhile I'd like to take it to a car quash.

The neighborhood I grew up in was so poor that nobody even had a ball. So instead of playing squash we played quash.
