Just a quick hello from a newbie member of this awesome sorce of info from all things 'Vette! I've been a member of some other Corvette boards before, but many of them seem to have gone way downhill and operate like some kind of posting dictatorship...Anyway, I'll be seeing everybody on the boards

Oh, and a quick "shout out" to Durango_Boy, who introed me to this group!

Bill, welcome. So glad you made it.

Just so everyone knows, Bill will be picking up a '95 Vertte from FL in a week or so and will officially be a member of the C4 owner's group.

I know Bill personally...he's a great guy and a good friend.

Welcome Bill.

Thanks, 95Vette....I have no doubt it'll meet and most likely succeed any expectations. Compared to the '79 I had at one time, I'm looking forward to having a Vette I can spend more time driving than trying to fix all the time.

Just don't make the rookie mistake of washing the engine. Your opti wouldn't survive a hard wash.

Here are a few pics I took of Bill's '79 at an Old Chicago in Louisville, KY.

Here's Bill himself in the pilot's seat:

Here I am getting in to take it around the block to help diagnose a brake problem:

I always love driving Vettes...no matter what year or what condition:

I forgot to mention, that day we met and I took those pics, there was another guest with us. Chris, otherwise known at Brut...a founder of this very forum !!!

An Old Chicago is a restaurant chain. They have a great menu of pizza, pizzones, sandwiches, and burgers. Name it they have it. Good food...the garlic cheese bread is awesome, and they have the most beers on tap I have ever seen anywhere besides a brewery.

Welcome Bill.

Always good to have another Bill on the forum.

I can give you a procedure for washing down the engine while protecting the opti if you want.

You let DB drive your other Vette??????
