It's called Aircraft Remover...
More accurately, it's Aircraft Brand Remover. When I first read the can I didn't know what I really needed with an "Aircraft Remover." I mean, how often does one remove an aircraft? I got this stuff at AutoZone... and used it on my valve covers. The 1992 LT1 used magnesium with some kinda crinkle coating. Well, the coating was flaking off and looked real bad. I used the paint remover and left it to sit for about 45 minutes. When I came back, the crinkle came right off in sheets. Amazing. Hose down, clean with some laquer thinner, prime and paint with some cool Grabber Green paint! Looks great! As soon as they are fully set up, I will take a picture. |

I can't think of anything that'd go better with grabber green than a Chevy orange intake.
Spray away. |

So did you get any on yourself? It feels like it can remove skin too ... not that I would know.

Aircraft Remover's been around forever. It's been many years since I've used it but it's very good.

Just so you know, I super cleaned my mag valve covers and sent them off to have powder coated. The guy even flamed them and they are so easy to keep clean. Before I sent them out I even polished them with a buffing wheel and they looked like polished aluminum, BUT, they only held the shine for a few months. That's why I went to powder coating.
