Good Morning CGs!

I hate logging on to find spammers. Usually it's one or two stupid things, this last a-hole posted 13 random things in 13 random topics. Just a PIA to clean it up is all. I try to get them as soon as I can. Jerks.

Aside from that, not much going on here. Have to start work a little early today and get off a little late. That's ok, a little OT never hurt anyone and it's good for the paycheck.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Spammers are the sh!ts. I'm up, well awake, didn't need any pain meds through the night. Been 7 1/2 hours since my last dose, but it's creeping up on me. I'll try to go another hour, that way.they'll be fresh when the therapist comes in. I woke up a few times through the night and just peed in thw bottle. When I woke upe a little bit ago I got up and walked (sort of) to the bathroom.

Going home today, not really looking fowrd to the 4 hour drive (more like six today as we have to stop every 45-60 minutes to get out and walk around the car). I have a long ways to go, but I have come a long way already.

Keep moving forward tee, even if it is just a walk around the car. Wifey is off to the docks downtown. I have a few errands to run this morning. Weather has not been too good the last few days. Overcast, occasional rain, gray skies kinda thing. Wifey said to me, "The cars are dirty". I told her I ll wash them when it quits raining. That will be around October 15th.

Keep moving TBee, glad you get to go home. I was suprised that it takes 4 hours to get back to your home 20. I thought Wich was closer then that.

Well right or wrong I put an order in to buy stock in Facebook today. I was going to buy Google and then got talked out of it....big mistake....but this may not turn out to be the same type of deal....Who knows. I am not a Facebook person but 900 million others are and I believe its here to stay. 38 bucks a share.

Friday and that means office day for me to catch up on things. It was 92 here yesterday and with a strong wind out of the south. There are a lot of central pivots going to water the young crops. Its very early for that.

Have a great day Guru's!

Happy Friday! Gonna be hot and sunny today, looking forward to enjoying a tasty beverage on the deck when I get home. Sounds like you are making great progress, Tom - I'll bet you'll be glad to get home even though the trip may be a PITA.

It's a particularly happy Friday for Bono - he will surpass Paul McCartney today as the world's richest musician, due to his holdings in Facebook. Personally I don't see how they can generate enough revenue over the long haul to sustain themselves, but some will hit it big in the stock market casino today.

Hope y'all have smooth sailing into the weekend!

Glad you're getting to go home Tom...

Up way too early, nice day here though, need to go to the tax office... also need to go the gym but ducked out early yesterday - big wave of tired hit me 2/3 through. Not felt good since...

And, Upon reading the cereal box this morning, I notice that a 'serving' is LESS THAN A CUP of cereal with 1/2 cup milk. Yeah. Like THAT'S gonna get anyone through an entire morning. Whoever wrote that must be a celery stick... MOST people eat their cereal in one of the bowls that came with their dishes, a normal average sized bowl. I guess that's 40 servings? And how will 1/2 cup milk even keep the cereal from choking you?

No. Mine are not even close to that dirty. I might just spray the fins with a little water, soap and bleach and brush them lightly. My A/C system works fine as long as I don't try to push it under 75* or have a house full of people opening and closing the doors or just leaving doors open. When that happens the air handler coils freeze over. It's one of two things. A low freon charge or dirty coils. I'll address both. I have a guy that does my A/C work. I just hate to pay him.

Yea.

Karen worked in purchasing at one of my largest customers.

At that time she was just starting out, building her bikes with her husband (her current crew chief).

I hung out with them some at the drag strip here.

She is the first female in the country to receive a Pro drag racing license.
I'm really she got to make it in the Pros. And of course, root for her when I watch NHRA.

My wife went out on the race sailboat as planned. Last night she ran out to an airbrush artist that we know and had a custom shirt with the boats logo made. The crew loved it and asked to to have some shirts made. Of course this is where I came into play.

Wifey:
Tom, can you go by Walmart and pick up 14 white t-shirts, then go by the house and pic up the boat photo? Bring them over to Moses so he can make the shirts.

Me:
Yes dear.

That's what I do. Honey-do's

She called while I was having two new front tires mounted on our S-10.

Marcus, The rainy season started here early. It has already been warm and humid. I don't call it hot here till it gets up in the upper 80's to mid 90's. Then I seek shelter in the A/C. I don't like the cold and I don't like the heat. 70* to 80* is my comfort zone.

kitchen's clean.

The Corvette is cleaner than me.

Looks like I can sneak in a nap before the casino.

Hey guys...it only took an extra hour to get home. The first few miles were uncomfortable. Stopped about 40 miles down the road, I got out and walked around the car, went down the road another 15-20 miles and I was ready to get out again. Finally started messing with the seat adjustments and put the front of the seat pointed down, took the pressure off the back on the knee and then I was good for 40-50 miles.

Since I've been home I've been resting, up walking, and watching the mecum auction. Knee up, ice on it. :-)

Looks like my wife and I will both be heading to the docks tomorrow evening. They gave her a team jacket and invited her (with me) to some pre-race event.

In action

There is another half.....and that is how they live......very nice!

I was at the bookstore the other day and picked up a yachting mag.....it was the big 100 foot sailing ships. There is a race in the Caribbean like around St. Kitts with the big luxo sailers. I spent an hour looking into a whole other world.........

Glad you made it home Tom.

My knee's hurting (no kidding), for the second day.
