Good Morning CGs!

Good luck to Mr & Mrs T-Bone today, sounds like they had a rough day yesterday.

Got the tint done yesterday. Love the look. Unfortunately the tinter didn't follow my instructions so after he spent three hours on the back hatch and did a great job, he screwed the shock mounts into the glass and twisted the tint off, ruined it. He has to redo it next week. Oh well.

Woke up early this morning, I couldn't sleep. Dunno why. Woke up about 30 minutes earlier than normal. Maybe I was just too excited to start the day

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

You can see around the hatch shock mount where it lifted.

BTW, the buff out had to wait, tinter took all day.

Greetings! Perfect day here, gonna be sunny and 82. Golf should be a treat tonight. Well, the weather part of it, anyway.

The tint looks great, Matt - hopefully the 2nd time will be the charm on the hatch.

Continued mojo to the T-Bone family, indeed!

Enjoy your day, Gurus!

Looks like today is shot to hell. I'm off to the surgeons office shortly. More hurry up and wait in store I'm sure.

I posted a pic of a C2 barnfind a couple days ago.

One of the NCRS guys did "rescue" it.
1965 - 365 horse, 2 tops.

Don't know id he's going to restore it or leave it a barnfind. But he said he was giggling the whole way home.

Morning guys...sorry to hear about the wife's issues Tommy. I hope that you and her can make out ok today and the next few days. Supposed to be a bit cooler today.

I had another pretty good night. I am headed up to the PT place again, but just to ride the bike and keep the knee limber. Then I have some work to do at school. The wife is headed to Wichita for meetings the next two days, so I'm basically on my own.

Bill, I was reading about that barn find. I know about two barn finds here in this little town where I live. 66 and a 67 verts. I've actually seen the 66 drive, it's been several years, and it needs a lot of work. The 67 was an original big block car, but hasn't run in years. I haven't seen it but I have talked to the owner about it. I keep thinking he will come around one of these days.

Yea, there was a post on the barnfind thread, a guy has been asking about another 67 thinking the owner will come around. He's been asking the guy about it everyother year---for 20 years.

Course, "getting around to it" can take a while, i know one guy who took his 67 totally apart in 1984 and is just getting around to it (bit had a really good reason not to).

Tommy so sorry to hear all that for your wife...
I've worked all weekend on the side job for the local paper. They really have me pissed off. Was due to upload to printer yesterday and certain people can't get their poop in a group and get me stuff to get done with. Now, in addition to being at the day job 9 hours a day, then gym, then I have to work half the night all week too. and, find time in there for me to eat and poop....
I need the money but dang...

They cut off all the surgical wrap and she is more comfortable now. Lighter bandaging and the pain has eased some. She was really hurting. Probably an 11 out of 10 like Tom had experienced. I think the worst is over. Now it will be pain in the 9-10 range and gradually decreasing day after day. Two nerve releases plus two scarred and damaged nerves repaired and relined as well as a relined ankle joint. Doc said it's gonna take a little while to settle down but is confident my wifes future pain should be greatly reduced. That's the objective. She's taking one to two weeks off to recover. I'l be here for her.

Ya .... Like DNBFS.

You can always will it to one of these younger guys. Maybe they'd have it finished by the time they're your age.

Tint prices vary with different factors/quality. Figure 250 ballpark for a good tint job on a corvette in this area. I paid less it's my buddy's shop.
