Morning guys....Spent two hours decorating the float last night. They came by and judged it, we'll find out tonight how we did.Things are liable to be crazy today, parade after school, "tailgate party" and then the game.
The wife wants to go to her folks on Sunday, for the day. (5 1/2 hours of driving for a 3-4 hour visit). Guess I don't have anything else that pressing. Tomorrow we have things to do here and we are ministers at church in the evening, otherwise we would make a weekend of going home. Got to go, I'll check in later. |

Happy Friday! Glad the work week is winding down. It's cooling off here a bit, but at least it was still in the 50's this morning. Tomorrow morning we'll be heading up to northern MN for my sister's surprise birthday party, should be fun.

Happy Friday guys. Been prepping the beast for some drag racing at NOPI this weekend (likely going Sunday). I had replaced the front ball joints and steering knuckles, got an alignment done last night. Finishing off the tune tomorrow, just have some pump shot and cold-cranking adjustments to make.
Finalizing plans for next year.. maybe even selling the 'vette.. watch this space! |

Doing the quarterly manse cleanup. Trimming trees, mowing, weed whacking, weeding, trimming back overgrown plants and all that other fun type yard stuff. On another day I'll boost the mulch. Then it will be pressure wash the patio and front gate. Never a shortage of things to do. While I'm working in the yard I'm putting full charges on the car batteries. I checked all the air pressurres the other day 9x4=36 tires. Everything around here is a f@(%!ng chore.
 Soon I'll have to go test the boat. The weather is changing and getting a little cooler in the morning and evening. Still hot as hell in the middle of the day. High 80's and low 90's. Cools into the upper 70's at night. Very nice. |

Well the ordeal is over for another 5 or 10 years....did fine. The Doc found 3 small polyps just getting started but said they should not be a problem. He removed them and will have them checked. He said the only difference will be if I come back in 5 yrs. or 10.
While I was in recovery I was in and out but started feeling really weird....and said so and they saw that my heart beat had dropped down to 30 beats per minute....it only lasted about 15 seconds and they have a name for it and it was explained to me. That made them put an hook up some IV solution and kept me in an extra half hour to make sure I was ok.....which I was. Slept all the way home and am headed in to take another nap now as I feel real tired.....thanks for your prayers....its much appreciated.... This is what it felt like when I was blacking out....  |
