Late start here today. I knuckled under and threw in the towel - I took down the umbrellas, shades and drapes from the deck and patio last night. We're gonna get some rain tonight and then the cool-down begins.

Tom an epic journey which seemed to be uphill both ways....I have had that happen hauling stuff....you are thinking when we get turned around we are going to be able to get 15 mpg's on the way back and then the wind shifts....I had an 8.1 L gas engine in a pickup truck once and if I would have gotten 7 with it hauling I would have done a dance. Mostly 4 to 5 mpg....Duramax's are pricy but do better on fuel.....Nice haul on the equipment you got....very nice!

Well my time off is about over....Monday I will get the ball rolling again and head into the new sales year....

Not much else going on....have a satisfying day Guru's...

The 5.3 in my Silverado must be broken in good. I get 15mpg towing a 4k lb. enclosed trailer over an 8,000 mountain.

Morning Guru's! Some of you will have seen that the beast is up for sale - I have decided to go a different direction and get a dedicated track car. Unfortunately the beast is a vert so it wasnt going to work for me. I've had 9 years of happy driving but only drove 900 miles last year.

Hopefully I'll find a happy home for her!

sucked getting up at 6;30 this morning... came in to the shop, punched in the code to disable the alarm button, hit the off key but didn't press hard enough on one of the buttons or something, by the time I walked into the back shop, the alarm went off and I could not shut that damned thing off to save my life. My head now hurts and I'm more awake that I'm ever usually at this time of day... quiet day here thankfully otherwise. Waiting on a heater delivery to show up, another to bring his wife's car for photos and information for an estimate that I told him I can't do, and then a man picking up is Prius that just got fixed.

I wish I had something really profound to say but hey, it's Friday and the brain is seriously into weekend mode.

Looks like I will be heading out to Eldora tomorrow for 3 different classes of sprint cars. Winged 410s, winged 360s, and non-wing. Sounds like a great wat to wrap up the season.

Tomorrow is Saturday. When you're retired every day is Saturday. I know I have something that needs to be done. Maybe it will be car wash day and do some paperwork. I cut the grass at the nurseries and house today, hosed down the walk, trimmed some bushes and trees and planted a tree. Now it's time to fire up the BBQ and cook some ribs. Work day is done.

Hey guys... I'm a day late here. I was sooo busy yesterday. Playing with the new toys. We actually did get the router running and actually cut a sign with it. We cut the Motto of the new supt, to gain a few extra points.
