Good morning gang.

Cold here this morning. Temps in the upper teens low twenties. Should be a nice day but the highs are only reaching the low 30's.

Now on with our day.

Word of the Day Wednesday, March 26, 2014

coxcomb\ KOKS-kohm \, noun;

1. a conceited, foolish dandy; pretentious fop.

2. Archaic. head; pate.

3. Obsolete. cockscomb ( def 2 ).

Origin:

Coxcomb is a corrupted spelling of cock's comb , the comb of a rooster, hence the badge resembling it that was worn in the cap of a professional fool or jester, hence the wearer of the cap, hence a fool or a vain and silly man.

Good Morning CGs!

Weather here is supposed to get up to a balmy 42 today, but won't happen unti 3-4 in the afternoon, then it will drop again. So much for spring.

Might go check out a used CPO car for the wife today. I'll see what happens. I think she is on board with an upgrade finally.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Hidey-ho! It's supposed to be in the 40's today, but with the wind, it will still feel like winter.

I heard an interesting statistic - on the radio they were talking about fear of flying being exacerbated by Malaysian flight. Turns out that if you fly every day, you will probably get in a crash every 55,000 years.

Have a great Hump Day, Gurus!

PBR bottle ain't all that bad. It's cheap too. Course I am a Busch man. After the first one it don't make much difference anyway, so drink one of your fav's, then drop to the budget beers. Bill, does PBR degrease car parts?

First you have to swallow the part............then drink the beer.

It's getting the clean part back that hurts.

Well the deal is done. Wife is the proud new owner of a CPO 2011 Rogue, fully loaded. We added the bumper to bumper warranty for 100,000 miles as well. We were happy with the price, trade in value, and service.

What is a Rogue?......If it don't say Chebbie on it I don't know what it is...

Spent all day out in the wind and it was brutal but I'm happy with the results of our work....more on that later.

Big Husker Attaboy and Attagirl for you and the Mrs. Gris...that is a big deal....congrats!

That guy on the scooter....I'm wondering how he would make out riding down the mainstreet on Sturgis on Saturday night.....I remember one night way back when a drunken bunch of biker trash stole some poor kids small Honda motorcycle and used it to start the nightly bonfire....I disavow any other knowledge of the happenings that night and or any involvement with a very nice Mex......nevermind...

Congrats on the wedding anniversary - awesome!

From yesterday - I'm always taken in by those Jack in the Box ads. Never as good as it looks.

Here's another 'look book' photo of some cookies presented for service. I've got some Coffee Cookies, Flourless Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies and my version of Chinese Almond Cookies here.

http://www.wisegeek.org/what-is-the-d ... and-class-c-motorhome.htm

Generally

Class A are the big ones.

Class B are the van type

Class C are the ones that have a truck or van type front and a big box behind it.

No special license as long as you're the owner/driver.
