Price is at least $5k too high, maybe more.

I'd be real concerned about the bird cage.

I am always worried about the birdcage, but there is something honest about it and the price isn't that out of reality.

1964 is a low point for C2's... no discs, no split window... they lack the allure of the other years. However, this gives the owner a chance to upgrade the car without ruining anything.

Joe bought a 64 roadster early this summer for $19k.

Restored with the NOM motor, it will be worth about $43,000 max.

That gives you $14k to do a total restoration just to break even.

Doesn't say what it sold for.

There's a lot of C2 buyers who don't know what they're getting into and end up with $80k in a $50k car.

It just wasn't a great deal at $29.
