Good mornin ......

Morning guys...Cold again this morning, not as cold as yesterday, but still below zero. I have some things I could do in the shop, not sure I want to venture out to do them though.

Hidey-ho! My first thoughts this morning were "WHAT IS THAT HORRIBLE SOUND? Crap, it is the alarm clock. How can it be Monday already?"

It is 28 degrees warmer than it was at this time yesterday, almost tropical. Meanwhile, it'll be a short week - I'm taking Friday off and will be off until after the holidays.

.....nuts the Duramax won't run....must have gelled up......will let it sit till it thaws I guess....it may hit 45 above this week......t-shirt weather.....

Stuff to do so better get at it.......still cold out......catch you on the flip guru's.....

It's 32 here. High in the 40s. Will be a long day.

Been busy since Friday. Picked up Sue's truck on Friday morning. new bumper, light buckets and adjustments. Came out just fine. Went to look at a certified 2015 Suburban LTZ at our local Chevrolet dealer. Fleet rental unit. Possibly a lease return. It was pretty clean and had 47000 miles on the clock. Had the color combo I wanted. Actually I was looking for Summit White/Cocoa Dune and found a Pearl/Cocoa Dune. Sue loved it (and so did I). Has a few minor cosmetic issues but no deal breakers. Interior as I mentioned was pretty clean. Need to have the carpets shampooed. Couple of scuffs on the inside plastic side walls of the cargo bay area. Light normal wear overall. New rubber up front, very good tires on rear. I've decided to call him Earl. Earl the Pearl. And me? I'll be The Duke of Earl . Drove him up to Bradenton Friday evening. 500 mile test drive. No complaints. Lots of gadgetry and nannies. We both like it though.
Saturday we had the memorial service for my older sister and after service get together provided for primarily by one of my other sisters and us. We also halved the cremation expenses with her. Somebody had to do it and it wasn't my BIL. He's a piece of work. Today Sue's off on a 3 day job and I have to start getting the yard and house ready for the party next weekend plus get the Yukon ready to sell. Here are a couple of bad pics of Earl just to give you an idea of our new family member. Have a wonderful day.

Sue says Earl is my Christmas/Hanukkah and a few other presents all combined. ;) Kinda like my Yukon only bigger, better and way newer.

SUNNY AND COLD IN THE NATIONS THIS MORNING, ALREADY UP TO 13 DEGREES ON THE FRONT PORCH. AND IT MAY EVEN GET ABOVE FREEZING TODAY. THEY ARE PREDICTING RAIN CHRISTMAS EVE & DAY. MOST UNSATISFACTORY :-(

NOTHING MUCH ON THE AGENDA TODAY, AUTO ROTATION AND CAR TAG RENEWAL. MAY GO UP TO TULSA TODAY, MORE LIKELY TOMORROW.

Gris - that's too damned cold.... It has been "cold" here in SoCal, but that means it was in the 40s over night and the high is near 60.
