Lots to do for final party prep. Sue is working a half day. The outside of the house is done. Today is clean house and inside patio day. I have to go get sonny-boy a gift card. Don't have a clue what to get Sue because she needs absolutely nothing. She says she gave me the burban for Christmas/Hanukkah ....... Ok! That got her off the hook. I would like to wish all the gurus and gurettes the merriest of Christmases and for you agnostics, have a pleasant day.

Merry Christmas everyone! I too was at a loss for what to get the missuz, but then I remembered that she married a stud w/ a Corvette, and that should be enough.

Morning guys...Slept in again. Need to go out to the shop and piddle around. Rosie and #2 will be prepping for Christmas Eve doings. I just need to get out of the house while that happens. Sunny out there today. Cool now, 24, but headed to low 50s. Tomorrow morning we will get up and head to central Kansas to be with FIL and the rest of the gang.

.....lucky duck on the shorts and t-shirts....although they are saying real warm here this weekend but Christmas day is going to be a wild one with rain and wind and maybe a tornado or two...... maybe like 60 degrees out....what is up with all that?
My clicker finger is worn out from ordering gift cards online this morning....I need to rest now...... Merry Christmas everyone....enjoy hanging with all of you.... |

Good afternoon, all. We picked up the Christmas dinner components this morning and than drove over in the cold and steady rain to see our goddaughter and her family for gift transfers and brunch. I received a very nice leather-bound copy of NASCAR: The Complete History, which I believe the little boy picked for me. Now, we're back at home watching Red Zone, since the Eagles graciously decided to make our Christmas Eve less stressful by playing on Thursday evening. Of course, the sun has come out. |

Man , this Hanumas/Christikah party is a lot of work. 1 day yardwork, 1 day housecleaning, 1 day party, 1 day clean up for a 6 hour get together. It's a good time when everybody is hanging out though. I'll try to take a few pics if I can find the time.

Went into church tonight and it was in the 40's with no wind...came out an our later and it was 31 degrees and fog as thick as pea soup.....the wild weather has begun......
Time for some nog and get the presents wrapped......Picked up a nice Glock 22 10mm pistol today for 400 bucks...... Uboy has been mentioning that he would like to have a Glock someday........I like the .40 cal rounds......looking forward to shooting it....... Merry Christmans all..... |

BACK FROM OKMULGEE AFTER A GREAT CHRISTMAS EVE WITH #1 DAUGHTER AND HER FAMILY. EVERYONE LIKED THEIR GIFTS. SO MANY GOOD THINGS TO EAT I COULDN'T EAT THEM ALL. I DID TRY. #1 GRANDSON, I, AND #1 SIL MADE A BIG DENT IN A BOTTLE OF BOURBON GETTING ALL THE WORLD'S PROBLEMS LAID OUT AND CLASSIFIED. UNFORTUNATELY WE RAN OUT OF WHISKY BEFORE WE GOT THEM SOLVED.
