The celebrity...what a turd. My girlfriend in HS had a Pontiac 6000, same car. I guess for what it was....it wasn't that bad, right?

I think they got a good but on an 83 911 at 19K Barrett Jackson and with Mecum the 87 Grand National shows the prices for those are pretty strong. I still like the 78-81 Pontiac Firebird "Bandits" I owned a 79.

My former brother-in-law had one of those early Acura Legends - very nice car in its time. And those old Jeep Grand Wagoneers sure seem to command some decent coin.

Late second-generation F-cars have been strengthening in the last few years. According to Hagerty, a perfect/concours/#1 1980 Camaro Z28 was $23,700 five years ago. Now, it's $28,800.

Likewise, a perfect/concours/#1 1979 Y84 Trans Am with the 220 bhp 400 cubic inch engine was $48,600 in 2012. Now, it's an astounding $71,500. Even a #3 car with the same specs sits at $33,000.
