Got up before 06:00 AM to help Sue load several buckets of dirt for her job today. I have a customer coming in around 10:00 AM and an errand to run in town this morning. The rest of the day will be doing this and that around the homestead.

....best weather girl ever.......she's my fave.......

Just had my second bottle of bowel prep for my breakfast this morning....mmmm....what fine tasting stuff......geez..... could use some Guru mojo today......routine inspection but all prayers are appreciated.....

I have a clear path to the bathroom........

As mentioned last night I am getting headers put on the Quick and the Silver so that it will be the Quicker and the silver.....Want to run faster in the Big Blue Mile shoot out this summer. I will be running the half mile...... The place that I am getting the work done is famous in these parts for performance mods and fast Corvettes. They work on guys cars from all over the region.... The Tech doing my work has worked there 15 years and tuned a lot of Corvettes. The headers and instal is $2K then the Meth kit is another thousand and they will use my Corsa CAI but open up the shroud to let real cool air in........the tune is 800 bucks......... baseline dyno and then final dyno hp and torque.....and they pick up and deliver.......just some fun I am having with my car. I would attempt the headers myself if I had a lift but for 2K I will let the pros do it......

Have a wholesome day Guru's........weather here is snow on the ground.....and maybe 10 degrees out.......very nice.....if one would be an Eskimo.......

U R such a girl.

News: The Tesla GigaFactory in Reno started battery production last month.

Panasonic (partnership) was hiring here in the beginning of December. People employed in the factory may top 6,000 by next year.

The factory has the capacity to DOUBLE the amount of lithium ion batteries produced in the entire world, bringing the prices down.

I been playin' at Joe's (his shop's heated), totally revamping the 64. He got rid of the white Autometer gauges (sold for $250, probably cost $1,000) and went back to stock. Putting on disc brakes F & R. Replacing the entire car's wiring harness. Interior is totally gutted.

Unless they have changed from 2000, it takes about 30 seconds to pull the headlight out to access the bulb. Just pull 2 pins and the headlight will be loose and can be pulled up to get the bulb out.

See! All it takes to get BillH's attention is a little John Denver or Glen Campbell.

Hi gang!

It's been rather autumnal here... SoCal hasn't been very sunny for a while and I for one am rather glad. We need the rain and mountain snows.

It's been in the 40s and night, about 60 in the day and generally clammy... finding all sorts of leaks!

Well Andy that is most likely the dealer had the pleasure of replacing the headlights on my gmc Denali.

Been raining since yesterday. Understand big storm coming in Saturday. Enjoy I need rain here.

Hey guys....It's been a busy day. Started off really cold. By the time Rosie headed off to work it was just starting to snow. I headed to the shop and turned on the heat and then waited for #1 GS to show up and help me. The plan for the day was to build a cabinet that will end up at the bank. I was given specific instructions as to the size, function and basic look.

The material I am using is cherry plywood w an MDF core. For those of you who aren't familiar with this material, it comes in 48 x 96 inch sheets and each sheet weighs about 90 lbs. I used to manhandle these sheets by myself, but those days are long gone, thus, #1 GS. After about an hour and a half, we had two sheets of the stuff cut into smaller pieces. The next step was to lay out all the dadoes, rabbets and other joinery and then set the saw up to cut them. I spent nearly as much time trying to teach #1 about these things as doing them. I ended up allowing him to do quite a bit of the setups. For the first time ever, he actually listened intently, actually taking in what I was saying....maybe there is hope for him to be more than just a helper with me.

Throughout the day the show continued, getting heavier and building up on the ground, which was quite in contrast to what the weather gurus were saying. They said we should get a trace to one inch....looks to me like we got about 4-5.

We did get the cabinet all glued together by about 3:45 and by 4 we had the shop cleaned and I sent #1 home, with the instruction to be back in the morning to continue.

I went out front to scoop the snow off the drive. The snow had pretty much stopped by then. It's clearing off in the north and west (the direction it came from), so we are in for a COLD night.

Marcus, sounds like a very cool upgrade. Nice 64, Bill.

Glad to hear the procedure went well, Marcus. I should probably have one of those done eventually. Not a big "physical" guy but I realize how important it becomes. And good luck with the header/upgrade installation.

Cold here. Busy with work and kids. That it all. Over.
