The county still hasn't plowed the streets here, drive a mile over to the main road and the road's totally dry.

The inauguration's gonna be fun, can't wait to see the lib protestors come up against the Bikers for Trump's "Wall of Meat".

Morning guys....I was up until 1am working on church hall kitchen remodel drawings, so I didn't get in any hurry to climb out of bed. I had Rosie look at the drawings this morning, and she had a couple really good suggestions and I saw a couple things that needed improvement, so I've been working on the '2nd revision'. I'm sure there will be more changes to come, but this gives us a starting point.

I talked to our resident electrician and he's got the electrical stuff figured out and an estimate of what that portion will cost. I'm working on the cabinet estimate now, based on the drawings. The resident plumber is working on his part.

Initially, I just did a rough estimate to get the ball rolling. Now we have almost $25k collected (the initial goal) and they are ready to proceed with the project, so now we are getting more specific on the amounts.

2015 Suburban update. Just want to say that I love it. Reminds me of driving and old 60's Lincoln, Caddy or Chrysler only in modern SUV form. You know how old guys used to love the old luxury tanks. Really nice ride all around. Course, I'm a GM kinda guy. (Can't compare to the new luxury tanks because I really haven't been in one) Difference between my Yukon and the Suburban is night and day. Course the Suburban has a lot more stuff that can break.Sensors, electric motors and such.

How the hell can you blow out your back by sleeping????
I ain't did nothing to screw it up especially since I refuse to pick up a snow shovel.

The extreme, sharp pain is gone, just hurts bit now.

The power was out for about 18 hours.

I put 2 nice wide ruts in the driveway with the one wheel drive Silverado.

Weather mojo to your guys out there.

Got the first coat of joint compound rough sanded and a second coat applied. Starting to look halfway decent now. A pro taper would have been done after 2, but I'll need a third coat. Oh well. I'm pretty particular about how it turns out, though.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Oh the weather hadn't started as of 1pm, but I just now came out from meeting with the electrician and it has been raining. We're still above freezing, so it has come down as water and stayed that way. On the way from home from the 'city' this morning, we met a line of about 25 power line crews headed east. Must be more of a problem back east. Keep going guys, I'm hoping we won't need them around here.

Howdy! We went up to my son's place yesterday to take them out to dinner to celebrate his birthday, and came home this afternoon. It's starting to thaw out a bit here, mid 20's today and there's rumors of 40's next week, it'll feel tropical. I'd better stock up on windshield washer fluid.

Hope the ice storm doesn't materialize down in the heartland, and back mojo for Bill.

Enjoy your evening, Gurus!
