Good Morning CGs!

Yesterday I had the joy of working in the garden again. This time it was turning a small plot of soil by hand on the side of the house. No horse manure this time. What a shame.

On a positive note, I met up with a guy yesterday who I bought some tools from before. He was cleaning out another toolbox and sold me a big lot of stuff. All good quality tools. Some of them were duplicates of what I already have, so those are already listed for sale on the internet. I should make my money back and end up with some free tools. No complaints there.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Greetings! Nice and sunny again today - looks like today will be the end of that for a while. Which means more yardwork. Gotta eat the elephant one bite at a time while weather permits.

Have a good day, Gurus!

Hey guys, I'm back. BIL/wife and FIL had to leave as the burial is at 1 pm today back near where FIL lives (2 1/2 - 3 hour drive). So I did my host thing with them this morning.

Speaking of tools, I got all (I hope) the tools I need to replace the shocks/struts on #3s Mariner later this week. I got notice yesterday that the shocks and struts were delivered and verified by #3. Later I'll pack up the rest of my clothes so I'll be ready to go in the morning.

A really cool start to the day here, my backyard thermo said 30.8. IT is sunny though and warming up pretty fast. Predictions are mid 70s.

I'm going to play tree doctor in a bit and start an iron IV on one of the trees.

Have a great day!

Well learned about DEF problem. 4 miles an hour on a freeway ain't safe. It appears GMC Denali Duramax has some bugs to work out. Hopefully it is covered under warranty, if it is tank heater number 1 parts are $260 plus. It wasn't low on DEF

WHAT A BUMMER STEVE---

RAN ACROSS AN EERILY PRESCIENT QUOTE FROM GEORGE ORWELL BACK IN THE LATE 1940'S:
"IF LIBERTY MEANS ANYTHING AT ALL, IT MEANS THE RIGHT TO TELL PEOPLE WHAT THEY DO NOT WANT TO HEAR."

GEORGE WAS OPPOSING THE SAME IDEOLOGY THAT HAS GIFTED US WITH POLITICAL CORRECTNESS. THE MORE THINGS CHANGE---

Boy you got that right. New Bill passed in California gas tax 10¢ for a gallon. Diesel 20¢ and 4% tax. To repair roads. Sure they will. It will be solar panels to save the world

Ya Steve.....had problems with my DEF system on my 12 Duramax.... It kept saying it was empty and would go to limp home mode even though it was full.... then it said it had bad DEF and to clean out tank......I took it to the dealer as I was still in my 5 year 100K powertrain warranty and they fixed it but I think they had to replace the whole system. There may be a service bulletin on it......

Well, I took the Vette out for a short drive, then decided to do some detailing on it. Once a year (at least) I take each wheel/tire off, clean the barrel and apply a coat of Rejex, then clean the wheelwell and components good before putting the wheel/tires back on. Then I went over the car and spot worked a few places that were scratched and then a coat of Rejex on the whole car.

MY GOD TEE, I GET TIRED JUST READING ABOUT ALL THE STUFF YOU DO. IF YOU'D JUST TAKE A NAP THEN I COULD RELAX.

THIS TURNED OUT TO BE A BEAUTIFUL SPRING DAY. WE WENT TO TAHLEQUAH FOR SUPPER AT OUR FAVORITE ITALIAN PLACE. THESE ITALIANS CAME HERE FROM ALBANIA.

GOOD THING I ORDERED A NEW BATTERY FOR HARVEY, AFTER SITTING THREE DAYS W/O THE BATTERY TENDER IT BARELY STARTED THIS MORNING.
