Morning guys...

I'm all packed and ready to head East. Rosie has meetings in the "Little Apple" (Manhattan, KS) Tuesday-Thursday, and then we are headed up to to KC to see the kids/grands. I'll be just lazying around for a couple days.

The weather here is pretty nice right now, 50, but headed to mid 80s. And the wind is supposed to BLOW today 25-35 steady with gusts to 45-50. In other words, just a typical spring day in Kansas. At least the wind is supposed to be from the southwest, it should be pushing us toward the Little A.

HARVEY IS GETTING HIS NEW BATTERY INSTALLED AND THE MOVERS ARE COMING BACK TODAY TO RESTORE THE FURNITURE TO IT'S ACCUSTOMED PLACE. GUESS I'LL START ON THE YARD STUFF :-(

Drove the truck to GMC deal this morning top speed 4 mph. This DEF is a pain. Well see if they even offer to replace the heater tank and fix it right. Got the day off so I will be taking the clay bar to the vet.

Greetings! Got busy right out of the gate this morning. The forecast was for mostly cloudy and perhaps some rain, so naturally it has been sunny off and on.

It seemed like one of my commutes home last week was about 4 mph, and there is nothing wrong with my vehicle.

If memory serves me correctly, Tommy sailed off on another cruise today. Johnny Carson would've been envious of his vacation schedule ;-) Meanwhile, safe travels to him and Tom.

Well, we made it to the "little A". We are checked in at the motel. We will head out to eat pretty quick.

Tomorrow, I'm going to see a friend that I went to school with ( college). He retired from teaching last year, like I. Shop teacher too. I've kept in touch with him over the years, but haven't actually seen him in more than 20. He lives about 20 miles from the motel. I'm going out to his house and spend the day. It will be god to see him.

It was terribly windy on the way up. Mostly pushing us, but when it wasn't, it was a PITA, even in the Caddy.

Turned out to be a nice day weather-wise. No gardening this evening, however my wife was kind enough to task me with hooking up the hoses and hose reels to the spigots. That and hanging a new wind chime on the house. Those are the kinds of projects I don't mind.... quick, easy, painless.

I was able to sell a few tools last night from the lot that I purchased. So I'm over 1/2 way there to getting my money back. I'm still in a winning position no matter what, so no complaints.

Well truck is back . Heat sensor to DEF tank. I guess driving at 4 mph might pollute less in a diesel truck

Easy peasy Steve........did they warranty it.....or no joy?

I like Manhattan, we move their in 59 so my Dad could get his PhD in Ag....we moved in 66. When my Dad started his business they went back to Manhattan and my mom still lives there. Nice country......

That is good Steve. I had two nox sensors replaced on mine under warranty this yr. I'm glad too because those are expensive little buggers.
