Cool this morning, 65. But the predicted high is 100, so it's going to warm right up.

Couldn't stay up to watch the end of the game, but my Royals swept the Mariners in 10 innings. On to LA for tonight.

#2 GS will be over to help me again today. Hopefully we will get the rest of the cabinets assembled for the kitchen job.

I did, after a couple hours, get all my stuff downloaded from Photofkit. Now I'll have to try to transfer it to imgur.com, then figure out how to use it.

Have a great day guys.Stay cool

Howdy! Still struggling to sleep in at maximum effectivity. I shall endeavor to persevere. Meanwhile, it will be steamy here again today. We had a little steak for dinner last night:

Good Morning CGs!

Took the day off for some r&r. I actually slept well last night for the first time in a week or so. It was nice.

I've tinkered around the house today and did a few chores. A workout is in order and then I'd like to get in the garage.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Those are some nice steaks Brad.

Well I've been on vacation since I got back from Ca. Been nice to relax. Bought the wife a new 2017 Acadia for her birthday. We traded the caddy in. It's was a loaded Dealer loaner. We picked it up last week. It's the Denali package. So far the Ellen is loving it. Color is Mineral Metallic.

Fat fingers, I guess. I knew it was the 6th.

GS and I worked hard all day, assembling cabinets and moving them to the storage unit. Of course we had to do some cleaning, moving and re-arranging stuff there to make it all fit.

It did get pretty warm today, pickup said 106 at one point while we moved some cabinets. We spent most of the day under the awning and it wasn't too bad. Just a little breeze to keep it livable. I'm inside now setting up three computers for a client. Rosie came home from work and went to the swimming pool.

Nice hunks of meat Brad.

Make sure if you're working out in the heat to hydrate well.

We started to look at the diesel canyons but she saw the Acadia and fell in love with it.

Nice steaks Brad... Mike's Acadia ain't too bad neither...
Not had my head in things today... got a message from a friend very early this morning - someone very close to me shot himself either late last night or early this morning. I have a past with this person, and cared for them a lot, it's a long 27 year old story with a lot of twist and turns but we remained very close friends. He had been in a horrible relationship and would message me often wanting to talk or I'd see him out and he'd be miserable. he sold his house, moved in with her, then regretted it. she wouldn't leave her exes alone but disallowed him to have any female friends she felt threatened by, especially me, but I had no issue with her. Anyway, they took a small trip I was told and he found her messaging another ex and they fought, he left her there and came home and offed himself. Has the whole town freaked out. He's a retired fire chief here, worked at the post office, had been a deputy at one time and was the current code enforcement officer. He will be missed by a lot of people and it's not right for me to judge and I dont' know the whole story but I'd like to choke her. why didn't he message anyone? his son, sister, brother, friends , hell me anybody shit. this is crazy.

for those of you migrating to imgur - make sure you set your stuff to private - otherwise it's like FB and everyone can see your uploads and then be able to comment and rate you. I managed to piss off some folks over there lol
