TEE I HAVE NO IDEA WHY THE GUY JUST SOLD THE FRONT WHEELS. I JUMPED ON THEM BECAUSE I WANTED TO KEEP THE STOCK SIZE ON THE FRONT. WHAT I NEED NOW ARE A PAIR OF 17X9.5 REARS OFF A COLLECTOR EDITION. I THINK THEY LOOK MUCH BETTER THAN SAWBLADES AND I DON'T WANT CHROME.

Hidey-ho! Gonna start warming up here again, and looks like rain later. We haven't had any in over a week, so I guess we're due.

Have a good day, all!

Tom, I think you'll really enjoy the Black Hills trip. There is a ton of stuff to see and do out there - hopefully you'll get to drive through the Badlands on the way there or back.

hey guys....I've been at it since about 7:15. I thought I'd get GSs' Caddy back together before it got too hot. I didn't start early enough, or it just wasn't going to happen at all....second option was it. Took about two hours to get it back together, my fault it took so long. The main bracket, which holds the idler and mounts the alt, has three bolts in the front and one against the side of the block, it's such a PITA to get it into position, I thought I'd get the three front ones started, then do the side. I got the three in the front going and took them down evenly, but not completely tight. Crawled under the car to put the one in the side...it wasn't going to happen. Then I remembered, that bolt had to go in the bracket before it gets screwed into final position, because there is a pipe in the way. So I remove the bolts, take the bracket loose, insert the side bolt then start and run the front bolts back down. Now this sounds easy.....it's NOT. Cost me a good 45 minutes to get it done right. Let me tell you, the thought crossed my mind to just leave that side bolt out...but I didn't. Once that was done three bolts for the alt to mount it, then a heat shield, the belt, the intake box and re-connect the battery. It started right up, no CEL anymore either. He's back in business.

I was soaked from sweat from head to toe, so I took a shower and started packing for the BHCC. Got a text from Marcus so I answered that, we'll meet up on Wednesday.

Thinking a nap this afternoon is in my future. I'll check back later guys.

Good job Tom. Hope the GS learned something. Warm here today and it hasn't rained in a couple of days and things are drying out nicely. I have to get out and mow the yard today or tomorrow. Have a good day gang.

This afternoon I've been working at transferring the pictures I downloaded from Photofukit to Imgur. It's a learning curve, but I'm getting it.
