Good morning.

Happy anniversary to me and Sue. 33 years of marital bliss. The one way we have found longevity in a marriage is by not getting divorced.

Morning guys......And Happy Anniversary, Tommy and Sue.

Cool again here this morning, but is going to warm up into the low 90s, so they say. But the rest of the week is supposed to be in the mid 80s, not our normal August, but we'll take it.

I didn't call Bill yesterday

Howdy! We're supposed to go over to a friend's and swim and BBQ this afternoon. However, the forecast says mostly sunny, yet it is completely cloudy. So we shall see.

Happy Anniversary to Tommy & Sue!

Enjoy your Saturday, Gurus!

Good Morning CGs!

Happy Anniversary Tommy and Sue.

I've been busy around here yet don't seem to have gotten anything accomplished.

It's been raining off and on for the past few days. We've had some nasty storms. Looks like another one of the neighbors lost a large tree limb but no apparent damage. Last week the neighbor across the street had a tree uproot and fall on the house. Damage appears minimal, luckily.

Window guy is here replacing the lower level windows in the rear of the house. He got here around 8 am and is working hard. Just him and his teenage son, but the guy does nice work.

Kids are off with the wife at a local event called kops n kids. The kids really enjoy it, they go each year. Later we'll hit up the local carnival.

Hope everyone has a great day!

It was entertainment night at the Senior Citizens' Center.

After the community sing-along led by Alice at the piano,
it was time for the star of the show - Claude the Hypnotist.
Claude explained that he was going to put the whole
audience into a trance. "Yes, each and every one of you
and all at the same time," said Claude.

The excited chatter dropped to silence as Claude carefully
withdrew, from his waistcoat pocket, a beautiful antique
gold pocket watch and chain.

"I want you to keep your eyes on this watch" said Claude,
holding the watch high for all to see "It's a very special and
valuable watch that has been in my family for six generations,"
said Claude. He began to swing the watch gently back and
forth while quietly chanting, "Watch the watch ---
watch the watch ---- watch the watch…….."

The audience became mesmerized as the watch swayed
back and forth. The lights were twinkling as they were
reflected from its gleaming surfaces. A hundred and fifty
pairs of eyes followed the movements of the gently swaying watch.

They were all hypnotized.

And then, suddenly, the chain broke!!!

The beautiful watch fell to the stage and burst apart on impact.

"SHIT!" shouted Claude…

It took them three days to completely clean up the Senior
Citizens' Center, and Claude was never invited back again.

Happy Anniversary Tommy & Sue!
Pretty nice day today, sun as out but not humid, pool was cool, I had no plans, catnapped off and on outside, came in later for some laundry, BF cooked burgers and washed cars. That's been about it.
Have a good evening y'all...
