mint car but mayun does it stick when tunrt on air con..found mouse nest in filter ..replaced warshed cleaned etc,,blower looked great like never went further then cabin fliter,,but still stinks like cat pee fer 1st lil bit tunr it on actually jus vent is werse air con seems cleaner n heat there isnt a smell..read many a bs on mildew sweet pee smells etc..lysol ozioum chit like at ony takes cures tell let sit few daze,,actuall if drive daily doesnt seem near as bad n after sits few daze..my question is ,,how do fug do these draw recirc air where do it draw it in from..any clues bruthas,,er answers how to fix (aside of drive fuggar evoday)...thanks peoples

thanks pina bro,,but its prolly nawt really mouse ,,was newish nest , no mouse scrubbed clean filter house (were he ate part of filter) replaced filter ..its the sweet urine smell ive read many notes on air con issue etc,,what im looking for is where does it draw cabin air when hyvacs on cabin air? id say in heat no smell jus the secented filter in air con really no smell but on jus fan frash air (cool here) its pissy sweetish smell fer couple minutes when 1st turn it on once gone stays gone that day but leave set few days again n there it is ..ive cleaned n sprayed etc..i need a good run down of the duct werk,,like weres heater core , i kin see airevap thur vents when turn air aon a lil door opens (use light etc) ive rattled nuff gimme some feed back bruthas.
an tebee no trades bro nephew kept buggin to buy my c5 so i found this c6 n decided fug it solt c5 n bought this z51 really dig the dif tranny gearing ..i wouldnt bought less then 08 as wanted newer tranny but z51 sane as c5 trans but the quicker gears n is way mo fun feels way stronger to mo so then 50 mo hp the gears is way shorter leavin her feelin mower power bandish..yet actualy prolly slower in quater as hafta hit 4th - windin 3rd (this is ony what read) ain pushed it hard ony couple times 135 real fast n smokked tires bout it,,think id dig the comp drive too verses jus on er off n shes loaded has everything..lovin it jus need to learn duct system to find my smell

I've got an 06 C6 coupe with 25,000 miles and anytime I turn on the climate control (heat or cool) the air coming out of the vents has a definite mildew smell to it. Just like an old wet towel that's been sitting in a damp corner for several days....or grandma's basement on a hot humid day.....

When it's off or when the car has been sitting all closed up for extended periods or overnight, there's no bad smell at all and it still smells like new leather and plastic (new car smell).

It's only when air is coming out of the vents

hm... Fabreeze is pretty good. Might try spraying that into the ducks?

bog thank you tons bro ..i used last one n now nephew preciatin it too..i crawled all thru these ducts (jus threw vents n under floor pass side n thru fan etc,,nuthin in there fired air n listend (fer like chit rattlin nothun) made vac hose n shoved round nuthin..so its as i thunk its the dreaded auto hyvac bs that round here runs air ony n never heat as sit in cold,,top half of air evap looks clean as L shoved hose down in there n sprayed ozium n blasted it with air ,,so now wiat few daze n see again...seems an issue n ony fix is dealer make fan come on after off etc,,no dice on that i r control freak i run my air when i want n off few blocks before home (nawt thinkin to dry it out jus cheap azz wahahaha)but my way woulda stop de stench

They had issues with the early C6 climate controls. There might have been a service bulletin on it...

I would check that out, too.
