It's partly cloudy here this morning and cool, 50. We slept with the windows open. Nice mountain air. Looking for a high today of upper 70s. I have a tee time at 10:36, mid 60s then.

I haven't heard anything from FLA this morning, but haven't had the TV on. Hopefully that witch is weakening.

I'll check back later. I trust everyone has a good Sunday. Prayer sent Tommy's way.

Good Morning CGs!

Hope you're safe down there, Tommy.

I've been occupied the past couple of days. Just like Marcus had a big day on Saturday, yesterday was my BIL's wedding. Friday night was the rehearsal and then the big thing on Saturday. Up early, at the in-laws for the morning prep stuff and pre-party. Then we had to drive over to the other side's house and do the pre-party there. Then off to the church. After the service they all went for the photos at a park (regular stuff). Wife and I got to go home and we changed. Apparently I had to wear a different suit because she had a different dress. Then it was dinner/reception. Food was good, lots of music, dancing, etc. It was a good time. Today we have the post-wedding party at BIL's house in the backyard. That's always a good time, too.

Friday night was going well until we got back to the in-laws house from the after rehearsal dinner. Pulled up and noticed my car was parked diagonally on the front lawn. Hmmm...I sure as heck didn't park it that way. The car was parked on the street in front of the house. A 17 year old kid smashed into the side of it and decided it wasn't a good idea to stick around. Neighbors saw/heard the crash and went to see what was going on. Kid took off with his car all smashed up and a flat tire. Another person chased him in their car. Kid drove about another mile or two down the street and tried to hide at the high school parking lot during a football game. Probably a bad idea since there were about 10 police officers working the game. Kid got arrested/cited for the accident and hit and run. Turns out he lives a whopping 6 or 8 houses down the street. Supposedly a good kid who got scared...you still don't run like that. They have State Farm and I already started the claim. I have to take it for an estimate Wednesday morning. So far I'm looking at a rear bumper, associated attachment brackets, taillight, quarter panel, rear door damage, front door damage, rocker panel, rim, and some little pieces underneath. Hitting the curb threw off the alignment which I just had done. Hoping there's no suspension damage. It's going to big a big repair bill. Car only has 25,000 miles on it. Oh well. Can't lose sleep over it.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Greetings! We're also watching storm coverage - it looks brutal in Miami. Hard to fathom what those kinds of winds and that much water can do. Much mojo for Tommy and anyone else in the path.

Sorry to hear about your car, Matt - that kid made a bad situation much worse.

Hey, been a beautiful day here, quite the opposite from what FLA is experiencing. Played golf and actually played reasonably well. Now just relaxing.

Kid ain' too smart.. .sorry for the damages Matt..

Hope Tommy and his family and neighbors are all okay. Seems there are several people who have the home security "nest" type cameras and had set them to live feeds for storm purposes. I've watched a couple, posted one link on FB.
