ANOTHER NICE DAY, 56 WHEN I GOT UP, MAY NOT HIT 80 THIS AFTERNOON, BUT THEY SAY 90 BY THE END OF THE WEEK. NOTHING ON THE AGENDA TODAY.

Hidey-ho! Another nice sunny day here - started off the day with a meeting, but it should be clear sailing until golf time later. Got to drive the Vette 2 days in a row now.

Continued mojo for those affected by the hurricane.

Have a great day, Gurus!

Morning guys...Nice and cool in the mountains I have a 10:30 tee time. By then the temps will be bearable, to wear shorts.

Letty, my friend in the Tampa area was able to get through using that feature on FB. It was good to hear from him.

Have a great day.

The Corvette acted funny this morning. I went out to get something out of it and it acted like the battery was dead. No red light on the door, door won't respond, no response from the fob. So I open the hatch with the key. and pop the door. I get in and no light on the start switch. I pop the hood and start looking around, get back in the seat and now there's a red light on the start switch, but won't turn green. Shut the door and red light on the door now. I try and the door opens now. shut the door and go back and the hatch is dead again. key open the hatch and the alarm goes off...FOB won't turn it off, finally after messing with it I get it to go off and now everything seems normal.

As a side note....about 3am this morning, I was awkened by the "beep" of a horn......I think, "That's the Corvette" and I get up and look out, but I see nothing. I can't help thinking that this episode has something to do with this mornings happenings.

yeah....thanks for the update Andy.....

Tee what the heck? The first thing I would say is get a new battery but I think yours is not to old....... hmmmm.....

keep us in the loop on that.....did I ever tell you how much I hate f'n electrical problems.....?? There must be 12 miles of wire in a newer Corvette......and dozens of sensors.......

What year Corvette would you have to own to not have a sensor in it?

Feel my morning nap coming on..... it's a DNBFS day for me.........

It was another pretty day to go golfing. Today the 18 hole course was a pretty mountain type course. I've started striking the ball really well. On the front nine I hit 6 greens in regulation.....and couldn't make one birdie putt. Par 36, I shot a legit 41.
A little break to allow my playing partners, a husband and wife pair, to grab a bite to eat, then we started off. I continued right where I left off hitting green after green in regulation, but, unfortunately, couldn't putt. At one point Greg said about one of my drives, "Do you know, the distance figured out to be 312 yards?" I said "No, but i knew it was a good drive." And that's the way I was hitting the ball off the tee all day. My short game was good...I just couldn't get a putt to drop....back nine Par 35 I shot a legit 40 hitting 6 greens in regulation. I haven't shot an 81 in years.
These greens are huge 3 to 4 times bigger than ours, at home. If I could just putt!

well Tee I think all that ails you is you need to buy a high dollar putter.....that will give you confidence.......and that is an important factor in golf I hear......

GOOD TO HEAR T & S ARE ALL RIGHT. OUR FRIENDS AND KIN IN FL ARE ALL OK WITH SOME TREE AND FENCE DAMAGE. COUSIN WAS 16 HOURS W/O LIGHTS. I'D CALL THAT PRETTY MINIMAL FOR THE EXTENT OF THE STORM. A FEW YEARS AGO AFTER AN ICE STORM WE WERE EIGHT DAYS WITHOUT ELECTRICITY.

BEEN OVERCAST AND COOL ALL DAY, NEVER GOT ABOVE 75. IRMA'S FAULT, I GUESS.
