Lots of work. Sue is booked for months. She's overwhelmed. Last night she asked me "What are you doing tomorrow?" to which I answered with my standard reply. "I have something to do everyday for the rest of my life. What do you need me to do?" If I was a young man looking for work I could be making a fortune. The clean up effort will last for months and months. As an older man not looking for work, Sue has come up with more than enough to keep me busy. I could be done around the house by around the first of the year if all goes according to plan. My plan.

Oh ya, the nursery is in much better shape now but much remains. Sue has so much outside work she is not doing much at the nursery now. Having the nursery AND the landscape business poses special challenges. You can do one or the other in easily but it's hard to run both efficiently at the same time. Something is going to suffer. The nursery is pretty much closed while the landscape work abounds. The house and area is a full time job and I work part time doing honey-do's. Sue would like me to work 2 full time jobs, the house and nursery. Nothing new there. I've been battling it for years.

Morning guys.....It's COLD here this morning, 34 appears to be the low. My back porch thermometer says 32.4.

I have to make a run over to the 'city', as I picked up the wrong printer yesterday for one of my clients (dumbass me). I then have some things to do in the shop before lumber truck arrives. Busy day.

I guess I missed Andys' birthday yesterday. Happy belated birthday, Andy. #3 GS has his birthday today. We are having them over for supper and small party this evening.

I hope everyone has a great day today.

+1

A little frost on the lawn this morning, the end is near. Had to go pick up my son at the airport this morning, he went to Chicago for the Viqueens game. It was an ugly debacle, but at least the 2nd half was entertaining.

Happy belated birthday, Andy!

Enjoy your day, Gurus!

57 AND A BRISK NORTH BREEZE THIS MORNING. DROVE THRU A VERY LIVELY THUNDER STORM ON THE WAY BACK FROM ARKANSAS LAST NIGHT. GRACIE'S GAME WAS A TIE, 0-0 WHEN CALLED DUE TO STORM WARNING. SHE MADE SOME NICE SAVES PLAYING GOALIE.

DOESN'T LIKE DEFENSE, LIKE HER OLDER BROTHER, SHE WANTS TO PUT POINTS ON THE SCOREBOARD. THEY HAVE A NEW DOG, GOLDEN RETRIEVER, THE MOST TRAINABLE DOG I'VE SEEN IN A WHILE, SMART AND EAGER TO PLEASE.

HIPPO BIRDIE TO THOSE GROWING OLD---IT'S NOT SO BAD AND BEATS THE ALTERNATIVE :-)

Good Morning CGs!

Putzing around the house. Cleaned up and mopped the floors. Time for a workout.

Brad, I didn't watch the game. Not really a football fan. I did throw $100 in a season-long pool prior to the season starting. My buddy just texted me and said I won $100 last night so I'm happy just to get my money back. No complaints there.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Happy Birthday Andy - sorry I missed it here.
Was a very warm and beautiful day here today, tried to rest and putz around the house. Going to work tomorrow and also have my first physical therapy scheduled. We'll see how all that goes. Haven't tried getting in the truck yet, that'll be new. Hope everyone has a good week.

Thanks Mr. clean up the shop, pick up supplies, talk to a client, fix two computers, go to a men's meeting, stain two cabinets then meet with a client about the design for a plaque on the way to meet Rosie for dinner.
