Hidey-ho! Still cold here, but not as bitter as it was over the weekend. Really doesn't make much difference, I have no plans to spend any extended time outdoors. In a couple weeks, we'll start playing a little indoor golf on my friend's simulator.

Have a good day, all!

Cold this morning. Not as cold as the last few days, but cold, 16 now with some wind, so the 'feels like' temps are still single digits. They claim 47 for the high....that would be nice.

Got a little work done in the shop yesterday, but it's hard to get much done when I've got this freaking kink in my back. I thought I had worked it out, but a couple, obviously, wrong moves proved otherwise. I'm headed to our local chiropractor today.

I hope that everyone here has a great day.

16 DEGREES HERE ALSO, SUNNY, SUPPOSED TO GET ABOVE FREEZING TODAY. THE CHEROKEES WILL ENDORSE THAT.

MADE IT OVER TO OKMULGEE FOR DINNER YESTERDAY; DROVE THE TRUCK, THE HEATER IN THE TOMATO DID NOT SEEM TO BE KEEPING UP WITH THE 19 DEGREE WEATHER. #1 DAUGHTER GOT A NEW CAR, TOYOTA FORERUNNER. AND THANKS TO THE TRUMP TAX CUT, #1 GRANDSON GOT A $1K BONUS, AS DID HIS COHORTS. NICE WAY TO START THE YEAR.

SEEMS THE NATIONAL SOCIALIST MEDIA HAS A NEW FAVORITE REPUBLICAN: MITT ROMNEY, THE PERMANENT POLITICAL CLASSES' OWN OBAMA-IN-WHITEFACE.

NOTHING ON THE AGENDA TODAY, I CAN MAKE UP FOR THE NAP I MISSED YESTERDAY :-)

not so cold here.......but no buds on the trees yet....... I'm thinking of warmer climes...... on my phone I can check the temps at Tempe and Tampa and LA just to keep track of how the other half live....... maybe someday.....

Today I will try to sell stuff to farmers who are mostly grumpy due to corn only being in the 3 dollar range........ kinda below breakeven they say.......yet I'm seeing some new pickups driving around..... hmmm.......

been researching the Shilo Rifle Co. in Big Timber Montana...... I have always wanted an 1874 Sharps .45 - 70 and they hand build some great ones...... pricey though...... so not ready to pull the trigger yet....... get it....pull the trigger.....hahhahaah........ oh my....... but its fun going through and picking out all the stuff I want on it...... If you've seen Quigley Down Under you know the rifle....... maybe someday........

Have a glamorous day Guru's....

You need to move to Colorado, Washington, Nevada, Massachusetts, Maine, California or a more liberal state if that's what you want.

Gray, windy, drizzly, cool day that's going to get colder from here on out. Went out in shorts and a t-shirt this morning. By the time I got back I was getting chilled. I have more to do but it will be in jeans and a t-shirt with a flannel shirt over it. Tomorrow will be warm jacket weather. Might even have to wear socks.

No buds here either - of any kind. But it is a little warmer. Not quite enough to suit me but I'll take what I can get. Had to be outside to measure two vehicles first thing already and can't feel my fingers still though. But, I've got 9K of jobs sitting on the desk to make the boss man happy. He can use it to pay the heating bill.

.45-70 IS SO MUNDANE. GO FOR .45-120, THE "BIG 45", BE A FIRST CLASS BUFFALO HUNTER. YOU CAN BORROW MONEY FROM ONE OF YOUR POOR FARMERS. DON'T EVER RECOLLECT HEARING A FARMER ADMIT TO MAKING MONEY---

Hey guys, busy day. Went out to the shop and did a few things then checked and the rest of the new bulbs for the church hall were sitting on the front porch. I loaded them up and took them up there to await installation. Got a call from a guy who had picked up his bid for cabinets and counter top. Last week he called to tell me they were "putting the project on hold". I think he was taken aback a bit as to the cost. Well, this morning he calls again and says "we're back on"....me thinks he checked around and found I was actually pretty reasonable..... But they wanted to change color of counter tops and could I get my sample to his wife.....Yup.

Then I went to see my chiropractor, "have you been avoiding me? You look like you're in a world of hurt." No I haven't been avoiding you, just thought I was getting it worked out myself. and yes, very uncomfortable, says I. Got another appointment Monday, but feel WAY better now.

Then went up to church to start on the lights. Sent a text and called the guy who was going to help me swap them out...didn't hear back from him. So GS #1 and I started. I got one fixture converted before lunch. Then a phone call from another one of my regular clients about a printer issue. So after lunch went over to put that fire out and then back to the hall to work on swapping more fixtures. About 15 minutes into that my helper arrived and in 2 hours we finished up 11 fixtures....only 56 more to go.

My arms hurt from working overhead....we'll see how it plays out tomorrow as we are going at it at 9 am.
