A FOGGY FORTY-ONE IN THE NATIONS THIS MORNING. BEATS HELL OUT OF TWENTY, THE CHEROKEES THINK.

DARLING WIFE STILL DECOMPRESSING FROM HER TRIP, THINGS SLOWLY GETTING BACK TO NORMAL. NOTHING PRESSING ON THE AGENDA, A WALMART RUN AFTER THE FOG BURNS OFF.

ENJOY Y'ALL, LIFE IS GOOD.

Howdy! It is a tropical 32 already, on its way to 40. Wheeeeeee! Think I'd better grab a jug of windshield washer fluid on the way home.

Have a good day, Gurus!

Good Morning CGs!

Also foggy here but warming up a bit. Still some icy spots here and there so you need to be careful walking and driving.

Does anyone else use the OfferUp app? If not you should look into it. Sort of like an online garage sale. Two nights ago I picked up a USA made Milwaukee appliance dolly for $40. This morning I grabbed an older replacement iPod for RR#1 for $30 (hers broke of no fault of her own, just old).

Speaking of iPods can you believe that her favorite band to listen to is....the Beatles? No joke. She walks around the house singing Beatles songs. What 9 year old does that? So replacing her iPod was important for me.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Hey guys... been at it for a while. Working in the shop and doing some design work....another kitchen.

Was pretty warm and just keeps getting warmer. Looking for low 70s today.

Matt, I'd say she has great tastes! I listen to The Beatles and I'm pretty sure Brad does too. Hard to beat good music.

Ya, that happens here. Iguanas are cool except they eat your flowering plants and then go shit in your pool. I like Florida wildlife, both native and non native except for maybe pythons, anacondas and Nile crocodiles. Parrots are non native and many other species of common pets that were just let go in the wild.

I did a delivery this morning to Coconut Grove. Short distance. Long drive. 5 hours round trip with a pick up on the way home. Driving here around the city is Vulcan ridiculous. Just spent two hours on the computer. Nothing eats up time like sitting in front of a display jumping websites. Going back to work for a few hours here at home. See ya!

Late last fall, the Indians on the Aamjiwnaang First Nation reservation in Grand Bend asked their new chief if the coming winter was going to be cold or mild.

Since he was a chief in a modern society, he had never been taught the old secrets. When he looked at the sky, he couldn’t tell what the winter was going to be like.

Nevertheless, to be on the safe side, he told his tribe that the winter was indeed going to be cold and that the members of the village should collect firewood to be prepared.

But, being a practical leader, after several days, he got an idea. He went to the phone booth, called the Environmental Canada Weather Service and asked, “Is the coming winter going to be cold?”

“It looks like this winter is going to be quite cold,” the meteorologist at the weather service responded.

So the chief went back to his people and told them to collect even more firewood in order to be prepared.
A week later, he called the Environment Canada Weather Service again. “Does it still look like it is going to be a very cold winter?”

‘Yes,’ the man at Weather Service again replied, ‘it’s going to be a very cold winter.”

The chief again went back to his people and ordered them to collect every scrap of firewood they could find.

Two weeks later, the chief called the Environment Canada Weather Service again. “Are you absolutely sure that the winter is going to be very cold?”

“Absolutely,” the man replied. “It’s looking more and more like it is going to be one of the coldest winters we’ve ever seen.”

“How can you be so sure?” the chief asked.

The weatherman replied, “The Indians are collecting a crapload of firewood.”

IGUANA TASTES A LOT LIKE FROG LEGS, I'VE BEEN TOLD, AND WE ALL KNOW 'GATOR TAIL IS TASTY. SNAKE IS FULL OF BONES, BUT THOSE BIG ONES MIGHT HAVE SOME MEAT ON THEM. A FLORIDA BOY CAN SURVIVE--- :-)
