Morning guys....a little nippy this morning here SW Kansas, -4 now. Wind chills in the -35 to -40 I don't think I'll be outside much for a while. Cabinet materials coming a little later, but should be up to 25 or 26 by then. After that some lumber coming in so I'll be outside in the crap for a while anyway. Not looking forward to that. The best I can hope for is, the sun stays out and the wind goes down.

Howdy! Back to the grindstone - it is turning at a slow pace, which can only mean that some disaster is lurking around the corner.

Tom, you'll definitely need long sleeves, and perhaps a light jacket or sweater.

Have a good day, all!

They have cancelled schools in Omaha and a lot of the schools had a late start...... not here though....we are tough......and so are the kids standing out at the bus stops.......hell they have nice little glass enclosures to stand in around here...... back in the day we walked through the blizzard just to wait at the bus stop....... but we could always count on Wit to bring us some Kool Cigarets that he would steal from his mom...... and we would all smoke but none inhaled....

damn cold out......may even be freaking damn cold out........but the warm up is coming......or so they say.......

Have a few laughs today Guru's......

windchill -35??? WTF... can a human even differentiate between that and let's say 0? or even 10?
Just freakin' cold. I wouldn't know the difference I don't think. We got 3" of snow and it's 11. I can't deal.
I don't see how y'all do it. Was out in it yesterday for a bit helping Don get tires aired up on the '59 Apache and getting it winched up on a trailer so he can head to the new homestead this weekend with it. I'm still froze.

Well, the cabinet parts got here....and thankfully, the winds went down first and the temps up a bit. It was 22 when the truck arrived. It was still pretty chilly running the fork to unload the pallet and running it down to my storage building.

After getting it into the building, I spent some time separating the parts and getting rid of the packaging. Tomorrow, I will prime the face frames. Supposed to be a bit warmer tomorrow too. Into the 40s.
