Busy day ahead. I need to get things packed and ready to head to Delaware for the weekend. Hoping to be on the road by 8:00 tomorrow morning. Hardest part will be deciding what CDs to take along for the radio free part of the drive. Fun weekend is planned.

A SUNNY 27 DEGREES IN THE NATIONS THIS MORNING, THIS IS A LOT MORE SEASONABLE THAN SIX. THE CHEROKEES VOTE FOR WARMER WEATHER.

LOOKS LIKE WE WILL HAVE A WARMING TREND FOR A SPELL; GOOD THING, I WAS GETTING CABIN FEVER. YESTERDAY I DIDN'T VENTURE OUT EXCEPT TO WATER THE DOGS AND FEED THE BARNCATS. THE BUMBLEBEE NEEDS A LITTLE CLEANUP, MAYBE IT WILL GET WARM ENOUGH TO DO THAT.

MEANTIME, I'LL ENDEAVOR TO PERSEVERE.

Hidey-ho! Gonna be a balmy 37 today, almost as warm as Florida. I started the day with an A-OK dental check-up, which was good, since I was able to avoid a meeting in the process. I've been digging the Nespresso machine I got for Christmas, have had a nice cappuccino after dinner every night. It's easy even though I am a complete doofus in the kitchen.

Have a good day, all!

Hey guys....the lumber truck showed up early this morning and it was chilly when he was here, 22 and a light breeze, so felt like 10 or so. I got the stuff unloaded and separated out for me and the two other guys I ordered for. Both came and got it pretty quick, but that led to them talking for a while and I didn't get much done this morning. By the time I was able to get to the shop it had warmed enough to actually open the garage door and put the frames out to spray the color. Upper 50 right now, what a change.

Ken have a safe trip. Drink one of those Nespressos for me Brad.

I got a call from the former student who is the carpentry teacher at the vocational school up north (2 hours) telling me they want me to supply the counter tops and come down to show the boys how to do them. "Sure I'll do that.....Are the cabinets installed already?" He says "No, I have the boys unpacking the cabinets now." "Well, how about I come down and do a cabinet install demo. I need to come measure up for the counter tops anyway" So I'm going up tomorrow to do cabinet install demo.

Good evening CGs!

I had a busy day today working in the garage and doing some errands. I had to do a decent tune-up on my sister-in-law's 2009 Honda CRV. It threw a code and was running rough. After some evaluation and a little bit of digging I ended up replacing the original 125,000 mile spark plugs, dirty air filter, and found a little hole in the PCV hose and replaced the PCV valve while I was in it. Now that it's all done the car is running much better and no more check engine light. They are happy and got away for $105 in parts. I got to tinker on something so that made me happy.

Have a safe trip, Ken.

Enjoy the cabinet install, TB.

Hope everyone had a great day!

Got up to 65 today. The frames are sprayed and dried reasonably well. I have all my tools for hanging cabinets loaded up in the pickup and I will head out by 7am in the morning. Supposed to be nearly 70 tomorrow. Saturday much the same, then Sunday afternoon SNOW......Just the norm in Kansas.

I ran the sprinkler today as the lawn was "crunchy" and cracks in the yard were showing up. I ran it through the cycle twice.
