Greetings from Daytona Beach!

We’re down with 25 other Corvettes as part of the Corvette Museum’s annual Rolex 24 tour. Today, a couple of museums - Friday, the track, Saturday and Sunday, the race.

Howdy! When I grow up, I wanna be like John. Sounds like a better gig than a day full of meetings.

Have fun, John, and the rest of you have a good day!

Morning guys....Another chilly start to the day, 20. That pretty much is 'normal' for this time of year. But the highs today are no where near 'normal', looking for around 70.

Brad, I'd like to grow up and be john too. Maybe, I'll try and do that sometime soon. Sounds like a blast.

Today my cabinet materials are supposed to be here, the sooner the better. This evening, one of the boards Rosie is a member of, has their annual meeting dinner. So we will go for that. Other than that, I'm working on a computer for a while. Just about have it done, just a few more updates to install.

I hope everyone has a great day.

Wednesday "Thursday" Addams Day chat. Wednesday's middle name was Thursday. Went to pay my Directv bill online only to find that AT&T monkeyed around with their acquisition's website. I feel like telling them both

I can tell when I'm pissed because all the nouns in a sentence are preceded with m'er f'n. Like, if one more m'er f'n bothers me today ........

Your day sounds like mine.

I posted in yesterday's thread, however I don't see it.
sock in the dryer syndrome I suppose
spent two hours on the computer last night trying to fix my email and finally found it - very simple once you know where to look. Whatever you IT guys take for a patience potion, I need - bout lost my meffn sh... and still mad about it. I need to be in Florida as well, that might help my state of mind as well as my stress level.
Y'all have a good day and pass me one of those pints....

Well, didn’t get a lot done today. Trial fit the cabinets in the shop and found a couple ooops that I corrected. Then my #2 GS broke his phone and wanted me to fix it with a new screen. Put the new screen on then find out the battery won’t charge, so take it back apart and put in,a new battery....only to find that it still won’t boot. So I grabbed my old phone (similar model) and got it up and running for him. I also checked the local marketplace on FB and found a newer phone for sale by a former student, so I went over to look at it and bought it as a backup. In the meantime, my cabinet parts showed up, but by then I needed to get ready to go to the ‘city’ with Rosie for her dinner. Interesting conversation during the meal....I am wearing my South Dakota Corvette shirt and that sparks conversation.

Patience.....that is what it takes to do computer work....and the right frame of mind to not throw it through a window. Most of the time, they are simple fixes, it’s just finding the right answer.

I just might find a pint when I get home.
