Spent most of the day yesterday on my ass. 6 hours of seat time driving back and forth to the Keys and an errand when I got back. Today is ketchup day. I have a lot to ketchup on .... Dogs are too quiet out front. That usually means trouble. lol

SUNNY AND MILD IN THE NATIONS THIS MORNING, GOT A LITTLE SHOWER OF RAIN LAST NIGHT, JUST ENOUGH TO LAY THE DUST A BIT. NOTHING ON THE AGENDA TODAY, I'LL JUST CHECK OUT THE FLEA MARKET. THAT SHOULD GET ME AWAY FROM THE CONSTRUCTION ZONE HERE.

I AM SO SICK AND TIRED OF THE ENDLESS MEDIA WITCH HUNT, NOTHING BUT RUMOR, INNUENDO, SMEAR, AND SLANDER. RICHARD NIXON WAS RIGHT: TV IS TO NEWS AS THE BUMPER STICKER IS TO PHILOSOPHY.

DON'T FORGET, SANDWICHES CAUSE GLOBAL WARMING---

GRIS, do your best to turn it off. Has politics really changed much in your lifetime?

I live in the Good Life State......we don't listen to news out here..... unless it's down at the coffee shop...... then its always more interesting.....and there is a lot of corn news........ you heard of fake news....we have corn news.....

Heading down to get some new tires on the pickup.....went with the Michelins at $255 each....that's mounted and balanced......the B-Stones were like 5 bucks more and the Coopers were a few bucks more also....... I'm like what is Michelin trying to do be competitive? Can get Goodyears and Firestones cheaper but they only last about 30 to 40 K out here with all the gravel we drive on........

Not much else going on......days are getting longer....when we hit February then I can see the light at the end of the tunnel......

Have an enlightened day Guru's......

ABOUT 180 DEGREES, I'D SAY.

I'M KIND OF A NEWS JUNKY BUT WHAT WE GET FROM THE MEDIA IS 95% BS. I'M INTERESTED IN WHAT REALLY HAPPENS. A "REPORT" THAT TRUMP "MAY' HAVE "THOUGHT ABOUT" CANNING MUELLER CONSTITUTES A CONSTITUTIONAL CRISIS? GIVE ME A G--D-MN BREAK.

IF JACK CADE WAS ALIVE HE WOULD ADD REPORTERS TO HIS HIT LIST :-)

END OF SATURDAY RANT---

GOOD TIRES BUT I'LL NEVER BUY THEM. THE MICHELIN PLANTATION MANAGER AT DAU TIENG USED TO FLY THE VC ON RECONS IN HIS PIPER CUB.

I DON'T CARRY A GRUDGE, BUT I HAVE A REAL GOOD MEMORY WHEN I'M SHOT AT :-|

Howdy! I started the day with an admirable sleep-in effort. Nice and sunny out there - it was in the 40's yesterday, so that put a pretty good dent in the snow. It's gonna cool down now again, and they're saying we could have sub-zero temps for the Super Bowl. It would be a good time to be a hat and mitten salesman. Meanwhile, today is the day that my son was going to get married. Since that isn't happening, his friends are throwing a surprise party for him tonight. They are a really good bunch.

Enjoy your Saturday, Gurus!

Hey guys...slept in a bit, then went right to work in the shop sanding and painting the doors/drawer fronts. Then went down to watch GS #2 play ball....they lost and will play again this afternoon. I came home after the game and gave another coat to the doors/drawer fronts. Just now headed back to game.

News? I don't watch it....just pisses me off, as it isn't NEWS it's just as Gris describes it.

The weather is pretty nice here mid 50s, supposeed to be in the 60s tomorrow.

WONDER OF WONDERS, I FOUND A REPLACEMENT FOR MY DISINTEGRATING BILLFOLD AT THE FLEA MARKET. THERE IS ROOM FOR ALL THE CRAP FROM THE OLD ONE FOR A TOTAL $5 NO TAX. I HAD SEEN WHAT SEEMED TO BE THE SAME THINGS FROM $20 TO $50.

FINDING A NEW BILL FOLD IS ALWAYS SUCH A PIA. SOME OF MY CONTEMPORARYS KEEP THEIRS TOGETHER WITH RUBBER BANDS SO THEY DON'T HAVE TO FIND A NEW ONE :-)

Politics have changed a lot in T-Bone's lifetime - it all started that time Caesar got stabbed in the back...
