So I’ve realized my tires are way too old to be trusted for street use. I’ve got a couple bucks in hand and thought I’d spring for some snappy new wheels as well.
It seems the world is moving toward larger diameter wheels so I think these may do it . Any thoughts? Suggestions? Bear in mind the price point I’m trying to hold..
Go to Jegs and enter
494-5910560
in the search. Thanks for your thoughts on the matter.

I like the look. But if you search a little, you can find actual C5 GM oem rims for around $200-250.

Thanks Mat, that's a good reminder. But I very rarely see the 10.5" versions come up for sale. It's still worth another look, we'll see what I can find.

Bob

Went through this last year on my 86, went from 16's to 18's.

Here's something that might be helpful: https://www.wheel-size.com/calc/

Plug in the info on what you have and what you want and it can help identify issues.
I wanted something that fit like the originals but in a size with more tire availability. I found it, confirmed it with the rim vendor and got them. I'm assuming you have a later C4 due to the 56mm backspace on the rims, mine were 38 so it was even harder to track something down but I did and they fit just as I wanted.

Good luck

Paul

I like the look a lot.

I do suggest, on a C4, don't go past 18" rims. The car does not look right on bigger rims.

I did end up with 18's. But I went with the black five spoke/ polished rim with perimeter bolts that simulate the 2-piece look.
