YES MATT, RETIREMENT IS A LOT LIKE AN ENDLESS SATURDAY. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT.

THE WEATHER BOFFINS SAY WE'LL GET A COLD FRONT TODAY, THE CHEROKEES COULD DO WITHOUT THAT. WHAT WE NEED IS A NICE SLOW RAIN.

NOTHING ON THE AGENDA TODAY, GOT ALL MY LITTLE CHORES AND ERRANDS DONE YESTERDAY. "A DAY OF REST", TO COIN A PHRASE, BUT NOT A TWO NAP DAY.

Creationist economics: the erroneous belief that government activity can somehow conjure new wealth and value.

Slow day here in the southwest of the Buckeye state as well. Yesterday's activities included a new throne in the guest bath. Normally that type of diy project needs the inclusion of urgent care co-pays, but this time it went reasonably well. That is somehow disquieting.
Also had to take my girlfriend to the vet to check out yet another lump. She's 10 now and we've already put in enough to buy a cheap used car, so the non-surgical alternatives, low cost alternatives are being explored. I sure hope it works.
Enough of the garbage!
Today is officially, "Bob's gonna screw-off," day! You guys all have a good'n!

Morning guys... Up late, then went to church. Back from church and getting things ready to go to Dodge City and hit the casino there late this afternoon and during the football game that is supposed to be going on (I couldn't care less....sorry SOBs). But because of the game, the attendance will be down at the casino, the way I prefer.

It is snowy, windy, cold and cloudy here. I was going to take the Corvette, but no need in dirtying it all up.

Got a doctor appointment in Wichita tomorrow, so once we are done with the casino, we'll head on to FILs house and spend the night there, as we haven't seen him since Christmas and it's about 2 1/2 hours closer to Wichita than we are here.

Bob, that's freaking plumbing....have I ever told you folks here, I hate f*@king plumbing... ? I think I may have mentioned it before.

I got the doors built and delivered yesterday, Got 1/2 the counter top done...more or less. So Tuesday or Wednesday I'll do the other 1/2 and be ready to deliver and install them. Well, that takes care of this week.

Have a great day guys.

Howdy! I was in no hurry to get up, since it is -3 with a wind chill of -23, and there is snow to be removed. At least it is sunny. Delightful.

Have a good one, Gurus!

Good to hear, Mike.

Marcus - as much as I'm surprised by that, I'm not surprised. Some people get offended just for the sake of getting offended.

That’s great news Mike!

Well the casino wasn’t too nice to us. But we had a good time and ate a really good meal. They had a prime rib that was excellent, 1 1/2” thick and could cut it with the fork.

Tonight we are at Rosie’s dad helping him do a few things. In the morning we’ll head to Wichita for my doctors appointment then head home.
