Howdy! My watch says it is Thursday, so that must be the case. It is nice and sunny for now, but supposedly there will be snow later. Good thing, I figured we might run out anytime now.

Have a good day, all!

Looked to buy some hard to get 245 45 16 tires online. Asked a seller (tire store) about the manufacture date. This was the response. Thought you'd like to know.

"While the tire industry (Rubber Manufacturers Association) does not have standard for maximum age of tires, all of our tires are stored inside warehouses which protects them from degradation over time. Additionally, we only ship tires manufactured within the last 4 years as an extra precaution for our customers. We warranty all of our tires from the date of purchase to the first 2/32nds of an inch of tread wear for any manufacturer's defect.

Thanks & Regards"

Gris - if you are in the approximate $200 range with the gift - may I suggest a "spa day". They offer a variety of packages and when bought as such, you get more services for a discounted rate as they're combined. She shows up and can be treated to things such as mani, pedi, facial, massage, dermablasion - all kinds of goodies that will make her look and feel years younger - as well as get her out of your hair for anywhere from a couple hours to all day.
I picked up a gift back for the BF for V-day -he's a gamer so I snatched the latest release of Kingdom Come Deliverance - 15th century battle - you start as a nobody and work your way up solving puzzles, etc. Based on actual weapons, events, etc. Requires a lot of thought and it's very detailed. He was out of my hair for three hours and it only cost me $70.
Happy Thursday ya'll

It feels so good to be missed

I think I posted something last week....I had a last minute opportunity to take a trip with my buddy. He was going for a business convention ans asked me to tag along. So I had a few days in beautiful Orlando, Florida. I can see why the snowbirds fly there for the winter. The weather was amazing. I didn't want to go back to Chicago and see snow on the ground. Regardless, I had a great time. The trade show was actually Matco's 2018 national distributor tool show. Not open to the public, obviously. So a few days of looking at, fondling, and talking about tools. I loved every minute of it. It would be nice if they gave out free samples, but I did score some t-shirts and various goodies

Back now and it's back to the daily grind. I'll have to catch up on the rest of chats later. Sorry to those afflicted with the nasty illegalus actus ticketus virus that's going around. Hope you (and your wallets) feel better soon.

Hope everyone had a great day!

Matthew
