I'm up at the 'normal time'. Not that I wanted to very badly. I guess I didn't HAVE to get up, but in sympathy with Rosie I did. It's cold this morning, 12 and might get up to freezing.

The last regular season basketball game is tonight, and it's a home game. So I'll be working that. Got a call from the activities director yesterday asking if I could work Monday, which is the first round of Substate. Our boys get to play at home in the first round. I told him I was planning on it. Hopefully I'll be recovered from my Friday surgery to do it. I think I'll be OK.

Not much else on the agenda for today. I hope, all of you, have a great day.

Howdy! I decided to telecommute today - we didn't get too much snow, but even a little turns ordinary morons into white-knuckled imbeciles.

In dog food news ..

An FDA alert was posted Friday.

“The FDA’s preliminary evaluation of the testing results of Gravy Train samples indicates that the low level of pentobarbital present in the withdrawn products is unlikely to pose a health risk to pets,” reads Friday’s FDA alert. “However, pentobarbital should never be present in pet food and products containing any amount of pentobarbital are considered to be adulterated.”

CLOUDY AND DRIPPY IN THE NATIONS, A BALMY 67, WITH OCCASIONAL RUMBLES. GOT ABOUT 3/8 INCH OF RAIN LAST NIGHT, MORE PROMISED TODAY, HOPE IT STAYS SLOW AND SOAKS IN.

NOW IN ADDITION TO THE NATIONAL SOCIALIST’S USE OF KIDS AS CAT’S PAWS TO DISARM THE PEASANTRY, THE NEW YORK TIMES REPORTS THAT RUSSIAN INTERNET BOTS ARE ALSO PIMPING GUN CONTROL. WONDER WHEN MUELLER WILL INVESTIGATE THAT?

PREDICTION: THE MUELLER WITCH HUNT WILL MAKE A SENSATIONAL ACCUSATION ABOUT TWO WEEKS BEFORE THE MID-TERM ELECTIONS.

WOULD BE A GREAT NIGHT FOR A BIG POT OF SOUP OR CHILI, BUT WE HAD CHICKEN PIE. MARIE CALLENDER WOULD TURN GREEN WITH ENVY IF SHE EVER TASTED DW'S CHICKEN PIE :-)
